With so many places to chose from we just randomly picked Himchuli. It was quite crowded on a Thursday evening but the servers were attentive and quick on their feet. For appetizers we had the mono and it was very good - stuffed with the filling and tasty at that. For our drinks we had the mango margarita and whiskey sour - good and strong cocktails! For dinner entrees we shared the saag panner, chicken kadhai and makhani chicken - the chicken kadhai was the best of the lot! Surprisingly the paneer was quite spicy - usually we have never associated saag paneer to be a spicy item. We had enough leftover to make another meal out of it the next day. We did leave room for Gulab jamun, which was okay - not the best of its kind.

Fantastic lunch special - for $16 it's a ton of food, and allows you to taste a few of the different offerings. The chicken was incredibly tender in both preparations, and the samosa was stuffed with filling! Had plenty to take home as leftovers for dinner, which was a good "problem" to have. Waitress was also the hostess, greeting was friendly and she refilled water without needing to be asked. A big clean restaurant. Did notice a number of takeout orders being picked up!

This is my go to Indian spot in Denver. Everything I've tried has been awesome--makhani chicken, sag paneer, and chicken tikka masala. My favorite things on the menu are the makhani chicken and coconut naan. Finally ate here in person and the service was great. Fast and friendly. I also love the ambience of this place--it's so warm and inviting on the inside with clear attention to detail on the decor. Even the dish-ware was so cute.I usually do take out but now that I've eaten here, I'll definitely be back!

Himchuli has my heart, both locations. I love the ambiance in here, the murals, the art, it's all beautiful. The food here is just perfect. You can't go wrong with anything in their menu. I think their korma is some of the best I have had in Denver, nothing comes close. The saag paneer that I had during my last visit was addictingly great. My only complain is that I wish they had a location in East Denver :).

I got the chicken tiki masala and the table got a couple different types of naan bread. The chicken in the tiki masala was super tender. I ordered it mild but it was still very flavorful and the right amount of creaminess. The naan wasn't as soft as I prefer. It was a little too crispy but still tasty. The happy hour specials for drinks are also a great deal so recommend getting there a little early. Seating was easy for us without a reservation on the weekend and the service was good.

We have done takeout so could not talk about service. My food was ready on time.Chili veg momo - 3.5/5 - spicy as name suggest. Momos were hard for my taste.Aloo paratha and onion kulcha - 3/5 - big in size. But doughy for my taste. Paneer mutter and kofta curry - 3/5 - medium spice has good taste. Little on sweet side.

I had an amazing experience at my first Yelp Elite event! Beautiful space with indoor/outdoor seating. The servers were good, despite having a large party to serve. I absolutely love Indian food! The samosas are a good size, the dumplings were delicious and the main dishes were delightful. The spice level on the dishes were very mild. I love spice and wish there had been at least a little more heat. I understand it had to be mild to accommodate everyone's tastebuds. When I asked the staff about the spice levels, they said, it ranges from 1-7. Apparently 7 is insanely hot!!! Can't wait to eat here again and order dishes with moderate heat!

The ambiance was very chill. We had to switch seats because the area we were sat in was a little cold. The naan was delicious. The service was a bit slow and we felt ignored after switching seats. The wine was a disappointing and the bar tender admitted to pouring the last of the bottle.
