Hands down, this spot is my absolute favorite place for incredible Nepali cuisine in the Triangle. The service here is incredible every time we go; our cups are always filled with their delicious house-made complimentary, sweet yet spiced, Nepali black tea (I love this tea so much that I have to ask for a refill to go), the waiter always has amazing suggestions for dishes depending on our mood, plus every dish I have at Himalayan Nepali Cuisine is phenomenal. Our Chili Chicken appetizer (spice level 3 out of 7) is my new obsession. The chicken bites are fried to perfection and tossed in a chili pepper based sauce with peppers and onion (OMG so good).I loved how massive the veggie samosas were; truly a meal in itself. It paired well with the cilantro based sauce and even better with the side of chilli sauce. The outside was crispy and the inside was almost fluffy with massed potatoes and various root veggies and spices.I had steamed chicken mono for the first time and I think I'm hooked. I loved how each dumpling was steamed well and filled with a mixture of ground chicken, spices and came with a side of chutney.Over the past month, my bf and I have gone back at least 3 times from Raleigh to Cary just to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and dishes at this wonderful restaurant.

***FOOD: everything was amazingly yummy. MOMOS - delicious and a must have NAAN - light fluffy and flavourful MANGO LASSI - tasty full of mango flavor very good TIKKA MASAL - so so good ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$ very reasonable ***DÉCOR: small place inside, basic. I guess the food is the main here. ***SERVICE: ok. The server didn't really understand or speak English very well. Have to wait for food so be prepared. Lots of parking in this strip mall location ***RECOMMEND: HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Would definitely go back.

I decided to take myself on a date this morning with an early lunch while I wait for the shop next door to open up at 12pm. Visited an oldie but goodie! This Himalayan Nepali Cuisine is spectacular! Upon entering you're greeted by the aromatics of various spices, and the sounds of Tibetan chants as the music plays over head. It never disappoints, and always nourishes my soul with immediate visceral reaction that transports me to a region in the world I've always gravitated towards! Complimentary: a delicious warm ginger tea (+free refills), water, with roti and pickled onions is served while you acclimate to the surroundings. A spectacular cultural experience for your body, mind, and soul for sure! Great customer service, and affordable prices makes this place a gem for locals! The lentil soup is DIVINE, and the spicy fried momo is a great pairing for it!! Practicing mindfulness while eating these delicacies adds an add't hug to my brain and nervous system!

Momos and curry to die for. Unfortunately, I live out of state otherwise I'd be back again and again.

Food was delicious. Got the Veg Thali platter which was a good combination of things for lunch. Also comes with dal and Naan. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere is nice. Even for a dinner.

Met up with some friends on a quiet Wednesday night. Heard good things about this place and wasn't disappointed. Veggie and Chicken Momos to start, Goat Curry and Aloo Govi to finish. All of them were excellent and the waiter was spot-on with the spiciness recommendations. (3 out of 7, for some heat but not overwhelming)Would definitely go back and try other dishes. Ambience is nothing fancy, but you go for the food!

We came here on a Saturday night, arrived by 6pm and added our name to the wait list. We sat down at around 7:15. We got Himalayan tea and the mango lassis to start which were both very good. We also got an appetizer, the govi Manchurian which was also great! Service was very friendly but you can tell they were overwhelmed. We didn't get our food until 8:30 so it was a very long wait. The food was good but we will won't be back for dinner service. We may try earlier times to see if we fare better. Also, beware of the spice levels, they have 1-7 and level 2 and 3 are pretty spicy

Came here a few months back and absolutely loved this place! The restaurant is clean and plenty of seating inside, with a very casual feel to it. Had no idea Nepalese food was so good and flavorful. They really cater to different eating preferences such as many seafood, chicken, lamb, vegetarian and vegan options, their menu certainly reflects that. For apps we picked up the 6 Vegetable Pakora-fried but not oily at all, but delicious! Nepali Style chili potato-good flavor and spice. For main courses, the Nepali Style Chana Masala and Nepali Tarkari, both very good flavor and spice-delicious! Many of their main courses come with Basmati rice which is cooked very well and fluffy! We are big on getting good customer service wherever we go and the service has been excellent both times we've been here. We are certainly no experts but we know good flavorful food when we taste it and we highly recommend this place to anyone that loves Nepalese food or is trying it for the first time, your taste buds will Thank you for it!!!

Easily the best Indian (or Indian adjacent) food in the triangle. Very vegan and vegetarian friendly, with allergens clearly labeled on all menu items. The ginger lemon tea is perfect and especially crave-able on chilly days. They offer a spice level of 1-7 with 3 being a perfect medium for me. I particularly love the chili fried momos, Chana masala, and garlic naan. A friend who I eat here with often is partial to the saag paneer. The thali is also a great value at lunch time if you want to sample a little bit of everything. My only gripe is that it's a 25ish minute drive from my house. How about a second location in eastern wake?! Here's to hoping!
