Great owner, great place!

If you want a refill of fountain drinks or tea, be prepared to pay again. The owner price gouges the customers unnecessarily.

Convenient location with very inconvenient prices. The staff is friendly, but they don't seem very conscious of dietary restrictions and don't change gloves between making sandwiches. Marathon across the street is better prices and are better about dietary restrictions, but the food isn't as good. Their fresh squeezed juices are pretty on point though.

This deli is located in the schlumberger building. It has been opened for a couple years now. The staff is okay for the most part. I can only think of one lady who is unbearable - I think she is a floater because she is there for a few weeks, disappears a few months, and then comes back again. The managers are usually very very friendly. Price: they are definitely over priced. Ex: banana pudding is almost $5. I just walk over to Marathon Oil Towers (across the street) and get it for half price. On average, you'll spend about $10 for lunch. Breakfast: who doesn't love breakfast?!!! We all do! But you're probably better off eating at home or getting someone on the drive. Here is costly, too. By that I meant $3-4 for a simple breakfast taco. Food: the important part, right?! It's average. It really isn't special. It's just that you're paying for convenience. Wraps, sandwiches and salads are your best bet. I don't think the food from the grill is worth it. I got a chicken breast sandwich once. When I bit into it, the chicken was cold!! Outside warm, inside cold - but cooked? So you know it was cooked the day before (at least) and then chilled until someone ordered. I had a coworker find mold in their fruit. Albeit fruit can mold easily, it was still yuck after paying $5 for fruit. Another time, a piece of metal from the metal scrubbing brush in the hot meal of the day, which was spaghetti. Overall, not a bad place if you are looking for convenios and/or have no other choice. But I don't jump to go here, it is always a "no other option" place.

I've always gotten good service and good food from here, I don't know what some people gripe about sure the prices aren't as low as out in the hood but compared to leaving the building and coming back within 30 minutes the prices are just right... Keep up the good work thank you for the convenience and quality.

I am a vegetarian and have never been satisfied with the place. Have to remind them of changing gloves, how to fill the sandwich etc. no flexibility on substituting a vegetable with a non veg item or otherwise. Everything not wanted is not substituted with other and comes at an extra cost. Pricey. Hope they can keep up to the standard as they portray.

Overpriced and the portions are small. They even charge $8 for a soggy pre-made sandwich.

I am an UberEats driver.I got an order. This deli was located inside a Schlumberger. When I arrived that they didn't know the order. They had to check their computer screen. Anyway, I had to wait for 10 minutes. I bought a cup of coffee for $2.15.The order was ready.I left. Here was relatively clean and new. They didn't know the order. It took time. Otherwise, it was good. I tried the coffee at my home. I was glad to see that many people were working in the building. We opened our business again!

Incredible customer service, great owner I love this place. I used to work in this building and more places like this need to be around - especially now.

I work in the building, so I like that they opened up Hightower Deli & Cafe on the first floor. The closest cafeteria otherwise is across the street on the 10th floor in the Marathon building. It's great to have our own Deli because nobody likes to cross the street when the weather is bad. I typically go to Hightower Deli & Cafe when I'm lazy and miss breakfast. They serve some great breakfast tacos. What to order:-The Texican

The only redeeming factor about this deli is it is convenient for people who work in the building. The chili and daily soup offerings bear a remarkable resemblance to canned soup you can buy for a fraction of the price at any local grocery store. In fact, I would be very surprised to learn that I'm wrong. At times, I've even wondered if the bacon on the steam table isn't left over from what didn't sell days before. And the items are way overpriced. For example, if you want a smear, literally less than a tablespoon, of watery refried beans on your taco, be prepared to pay an upcharge of fifty cents, boosting the taco up in the $3 or more range. In retrospect, I should have gotten the salsa for the taco as it was included in what I paid. Additionally, several times I've tossed a nearly uneaten lunch into the trash, even though I've paid good money for it, because the food tasted strange and I was afraid of getting food poisoning. An Albert Einstein quote comes to mind about the definition of insanity: "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Today, I've decided to return to sanity. I won't be going back to Hightower Deli & Café.

I can honestly say this is one of the nicest cafe or deli that I have been to. The selection is awesome. I love the fact that there are tv's everywhere. There is not a bad seat in the house. The staff really wants to deliver the best customer service. I also like that I can taste just about anything before I commit go what I want to have. I would recommend this deli to everyone. My favorite sandwich is the empire oh and also the cubana. Overall I must say I had a great lunch. Thanks
