Hick's Old-Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor

Been here multiple times and it's excellent ice cream and great service with easy parking lot to get in and out of .

Went to get ice cream and...surprise, not open. Hicks is passable at best, how can you run a business and not open on a Saturday night. Woman on cash register , would it kill you to pitch in and help the employees dipping ice cream? Taking my business to Sprinkles

Ice cream portions were good for the price. The staff was very friendly. The inside was clean. The entrance is confusing. I parked in the handicap spot with my placard and used the ramp to get in the door. Upon entering is the very confusing part. There are steps to go down. I had to have my partner carry my walker down the steps and hold onto the railing while I walked down. Once to the floor you order to the right side and have to make it back to the other side to pay. You are out of luck for room if people are in line or sitting at the tables. It seems like things were not fully thought about being ADA compliant.

A good startup!It's always good to have a local alternative to a corporate.First impression walking in was the smell.Expecting an inviting cozy ice cream shop feel, I got a pharmacy-like smell, and some white fluorescent light. The space was very crammed, had to twirl around chairs and people to get from receiving to payment stations.Ordered a small cone with one scoop of the ice cream. Proportion-vise imagine an olive on a toothpick. A very generous scoop, but even if you want a single scoop, please get anything but a small sugar cone. A large one would work!Ice cream was delicious!Until it started to melt and fell on the floor altogether :c(Outside of course)Staff was super friendly!Nice location, big potential, generous portions!5.9/10 for what it is9/10 for what it could be

Try the strawberry cheesecake ice cream; it's fabulous. Just opened, plenty of parking, and open on July 4 (tomorrow). They need chairs and tables outside.

Really great and in an awesome spot! it's great to have a small business ice cream shop around the corner :) they are also a 5 minute bike ride right off the Penny pack Trail. Cant wait to make that pit stop on my next ride!

Great atmosphere. Friendly workers and delicious ice cream. Definitely a 5 star . I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Great ice cream and super nice staff. I especially liked the salted caramel pretzel ice cream. Definitely will be back!
