Hickory Barn BBQ

This place is legendary! It's been around forever! Food is always good. I've never had a bad thing there. Service is spot on. BBQ dudes are always nice and helpful. The inside has a cool, classic vibe. If I could eat more there I would.

Their food has always been good. Their meat isn't always the best quality and they do not offer a lean option like other bbq places. They do have the best sides and their potato salad is the best, Love it.

The three meat plate was good but not better than average. We got and shared the brisket which was tender with some flavor but served at room temperature ( this was an issue with everything but the freshly fried fried okra). The sausage was good but not warm, the ribs were tasty but not warm. The fried okra was hot and tasty, the cole slaw was fresh but a little sweeter than I like. I know 'Q places have stuff under heat lamps and if it stays there any length of time it gets dried out.....not an issue here 'cause none of the food was warm.

Well, I noted Google reviews. I typically use other review sites, but - I thought I'd be ok.This joint is just, kinda ... slightly....maybe...something.... to pass up.

The potato salad was probamatic lol . i mean it was different im not use to that taste its all the brisket and fries are incredible The plate was purchased super bowl sunday. I been there a long time ago but it was my first time coming back. 3 people sampled this 1 plate so it was plenty of meat i mean if you had 4-6 slices of bread you can definitely share. No bread was given we chose to get no sauce not to mess my mom clothes my mom has hardly any teeth so it was tender enough for her. I mean i really enjoyed. But the potato salad was a no i mean it was edible but it was a no. The amount of fries was to little too they was good but they should have been given in a small basket separate frim the food if you order fries no body want to pay big money gor a pinch of fries give the whole small basket please .

The food is so yummy!! Service amazing and the vibes are calm , nice chill place . The only thing is that is kinda pricey but worth it

Hate to razz on any M&P business, but the food here needs a little work. The brisket is tasty, but dry. The links are flavorful, but need sauce. The sauce? Too weird to be considered BBQ sauce, and they only provide a small splash across the plate. Sides of beans and mac and cheese were okay, nothing too flavorful.If they introduced a couple different sauces, I'd recommend this place.

Really great BBQ! I enjoyed the brisket potato. This was my first time here and I would say it was good!

I am so incredibly picky about bbq but this is THE SPOT!!! If you want amazing food, fast service and an old school vibe this place is it! I've been coming here for years and it has NEVER disappointed!! The stuffed baked potato- amazing, the chopped beef- stunning! The side are to die for. This place is truly one of a kind. Always clean, always smiling faces and always quick service. Love love love hickory barn!!! 10/10 stars!

We bought cater package for 10, brisket and sides. Worked great for our special occasion. We have bought there for many years. Enjoy it every time!
