Finally got the chance to stop into Hero Cha after their remodel and it is pretty! The staff is so friendly and always smiling and made sure everything was perfect with our order. They had a December special which was a pretty good deal. For $10 we got a banh mi, egg roll and a medium size drink. The banh is made in store and it's sometimes hard to find a store that does that. Hero cha is also a bakery that has different bakes good. They also have catering options and if you let them know early enough they can bake other stuff for you. Overall a great experience and will be coming back soon!

This place is close to home and we decided to stop and try it out. Super cute place. I loved the decor and plenty of seating. They had a big menu to choose from and some pastries as well. I got a passion fruit green tea with passion fruit jelly and a Thai tea biscuit. I like the regular boba better than the jelly but I wanted to try something different. Tea and biscuit were good. I will definitely stop by and try some of their other menu items. Service was quick and friendly. The barista offered me samples of the different jellies but I didn't try any.

Hero Cha is sure to save your day in Friendswood with their boba milk tea and assorted bakery items. I'm surprised a local tapioca shop opened up in the heart of Friendswood, but I'm hoping it's here to stay.Walking in, it's very brightly colored, lots of natural lighting, and a cool "Hero" theme throughout. The family that owns the place was very nice, and was telling us how they've only been open for 3 days so far.We tried their green milk tea w/ tapioca, strawberry hero milk foam latte w/ tapioca, chocolate milk tea w/ coffee jelly, and taro milk tea w/ tapioca. All the drinks were made to order, and tasted pretty good. The only thing I would maybe ask for next time is for the drink to be less sweet, but that's just my preference. The tapioca was consistently soft though which is a great sign of any boba shop. The thing that blew us away though was their freshly baked custard buns. These were AMAZING! They served them still warm and the custard filling was overflowing as soon as you broke into them. We tried their cream cheese filling, thai tea custard, and pandan custard. The bread part is as soft as a cloud, and the fillings aren't overly sweet. I would seriously come back for their baked goods alone.Hero Cha is currently still in their soft opening stage so some of their items on the menu aren't currently available yet, but they said their grand opening will be announced soon on their website. Definitely give this local business a try because their tapioca drinks and custard buns were great! Cheers!

Quick service, friendly and warm welcome. They have a decent amount of bakery selections for the area that they're in. I'm glad I don't have to go to Bellaire to get any Asian pastries since this one is extremely close by! They might not have a large selection like other bakeries in Bellaire but it's enough to eat those carvings. If you want to come here and study, it is nice and quiet and in a nice area of Friendswood so you should be at peace when you're studying. Mango frappe was awesome! You can really taste the fresh mangos and the sweetness is perfect. If you like Daboba's mango frappe then you'll like this one even more. Thai tea was great! I love my Thai tea but most Thai teas I get have this strange aftertaste and is overly sweet but this one fits my tastebuds really well. The Thai chicken and Thai Basil were great savory items and would highly recommend it if you're looking for a light snack. Would prefer a spicy option if available. She even heats it up if you want it warmed up. Pandan custard was great the filling was a lot when you bite into it and has that distinct pandan flavor. Not a fan of the Hokkaido milk custard. It was too sweet for me, if the condensed milk was toned down by 50% then I think that's where it would truly shine. All in all, I would definitely be coming back to support them and their business venture.Going to try the Japanese cheesecake on my next visit!

The food items were very tasty, we tried the Thai chicken, curry chicken, and custard buns and they were all very delicious! The drinks were good too, however I wish that the sweetness level was able to be adjusted as I prefer my milk tea with a touch more sweetness than what I received here. The boba was perfect consistency which is always a determine factor for me when trying new boba shops and I am happy to say they did it well!Overall, I'm excited to have a new boba place so close to home and will continue to visit!

Ever since I came upon Hero-Cha's business card, I had to come by here. I didn't know Hero-Cha underwent any renovations, until I saw photos from past reviewers. No matter what it looks like on the inside, Hero Cha has excellent service, and great quality of food and drinks. The staff are very kind and attentive to their customers. All of their beverages and treats are homemade. They don't rely on excess sugar, artificial colors, artificial flavors, powdered eggs, artificial sweeteners, or any crud like that. The staff of Hero Cha only use REAL, wholesome ingredients for each menu item. For example, their mango cake doesn't rely on sugar, the full flavor and sweetness comes from the mango itself. Though, they do offer diet desserts too. They had the BEST Japanese cheesecake I've ever had. I also enjoyed their meatball Banh Mi. Hero Cha has hot drinks, pastries- sweet and savory, Korean street dogs, potstickers, Banh Mi sandwiches, egg rolls, popcorn chicken, Spring rolls, dumplings and so much more. Did you know that Hero Cha does catering!?! Hero Cha sell some plushes and other neat stuff, that otaku like me love. They even have plushes of their mascot! Hero Cha's location is a little difficult to find, they're in a small strip. Parking can be a problem because of that. Hero Cha is a great place to hang out with friends. I pray that they stay in business forever. I'm definitely coming back to Hero Cha.

The drinks were AMAZING (Thai tea and mango frappe). Perfect sweetness without having the adjust anything. The owner was incredibly sweet and heated up the buns for us.I enjoyed the curry bun, I really liked the chunks of potatoes in there. I LOVED the pandan custard bun, soft pillowy bread filled with pandan custard, they don't skimp on the custard. Knocking down 1 star because the milk custard bun was too sweet. It was like a sugar bomb went off in my mouth. I think the Thai basil chicken bun was supposed to be spicy but I didn't get any spice at all.All in all, very happy to have this closer to home.

Why 5 stars? Because this is another great boba option when I'm visiting family in Friendswood. --- --- ---I visit family plenty, so I'm in Friendswood a lot, and always on the hunt for new places. On this particular day, I'd already had enough sugar for 8 men, but once you pop, you just can't stop. So on the way back home, we opted to grab some boba. I asked if they had smoothies and the woman mentioned that the frappe's are basically that. I was in an oreo mood, so I went with cookies-n-cream and did not regret it! If you ever enjoyed a Starbucks frappe, it was literally that, but cookies-n-cream. My wife had a taro boba tea, which she wished were a bit sweeter, but I really enjoyed mine.I also couldn't resist grabbing a thai pandan bun, which was oozing out warm pandan cream. It was as amazing as it sounds. I would happily come back here again, even just for the other various treats they had available in the case.I'm happy Hero Cha is here and will be back again in the future when I'm in town!
