Omg! This sandwich is amazing. I even ordered the wrong sandwich and it was absolutely scrumptious!!!! I guess it is just a great reason to return and try everything!!! Bonus points for the awesome soundtrack.... Led Zeppelin and Floyd!!!

On a beautiful day we came to eat outside at this sandwich shop. Had a hot sandwich that was delicious. Had the Peppers, onion and sausage sandwich with melted mozzarella cheese and fries with cheese. Didn't really care for the fries but the sandwich was really good. Would get it again. The price was a bit high but everything is high these days. Service was ok. Took a few minutes to get our food. The lady doesn't talk real loud so it is hard to hear when your name is called out. Also, if you are outside you won't hear your name being called.

My friend and I stopped here for lunch on a whim yesterday. I happened to be driving by when I noticed Hero Boy Sandwich Company and saw that it appeared to be a popular spot as it was rather crowded. I was hungry and a sandwich sounded tasty, so we decided to give it a shot while on our way to our final destination. I liked that I could order on one of the two ordering screens that allowed me to easily select what I wanted and make any customizations without having to speak to anyone (sometimes I feel a little anti-social, don't judge me). It made the ordering process smooth and seamless. We split a cheesesteak on a traditional hoagie. I added bacon and extra provolone cheese to the sandwich. It was very tasty and I was more than satisfied with only half of it. We also tried a side of the macaroni salad and the chipotle chicken salad. Both were good. My friend preferred the chipotle chicken and I preferred the macaroni salad, which worked out cause we each got more of our favorite as the sides were pretty small. It was good enough that I decided to order a tuna sandwich to go for my husband who was working at home. He enjoyed his sandwich too. It was a little pricey for my liking, but then again so are most things these days. When I think about the number of stars a place deserves, one of my main considerations is how likely I am to return to the place and how likely I am to go out of my way to return to the place. I enjoyed my sandwich and would recommend it to others. If I am nearby again and hungry, I would definitely consider eating here again. However, I would likely not go out of my way to return, which is why I think a 4 is more appropriate than a 5 in this case.

We ate here for the first time this afternoon. I found the employees to be incredibly friendly and helpful, the restaurant small but cute. But....for two subs, one which was not even a combo, came to over $30.00!!! The food was good, but most definitely not worth the price. In addition, there are no fountain drinks available, only canned and bottled drinks. I asked for some ice for my drink and they did not have any. Huh? Unless the prices of the food are lowered and fountain drinks, or at least ice and a cup are available. We will not be returning.

You get a lot of sandwich for the money. This sesame seed hoagie bun was soft and crunchy. It was packed with classic ham and provolone with lettuce, extra mayo and mustard. I could only eat half and I don't think I'll be able to eat for the rest of the day! The employees are all very friendly and my family and I had a fun time eating there.

What atrocious sandwich shop dices their deli meats into thick cubes for a sub?? A lot of cubed meat, very little thinly sliced meat, and a bit of sliced cheese. Not sure where the rest of my toppings went either. There has to be a mistake here but since this was a pick up and brought-to-me sandwich I am only left scratching my head. Is THIS what a Hero Boy Sandwich is all about? If so, yikes what an abomination. There are actual sandwich places around that will actually take care of your sandwich desires and *slice* the meat and layer onto your bread roll and even add toppings! Generously leaving 3 stars as I am so confused and might need to get another sandwich, for investigative purposes.

This makes my third visit to Hero Boy and also my third sandwich. Have had the South Philly Cheesesteak and meatball parm on previous visits. Both dynamite.Today, they had hot pastrami as a special.Sign me up Shaun.It was every bit as tasty and filling as the others I tried. An appropriate amount of pastrami....not an intimidating portion like the iconic NYC shops (Carnegie and Katz), but hey, the ordering system gives the option for extra meat.I had it all the way...Russian dressing, cheese, and kraut. You can mix those ingredients also if you like.Five napkins required. This was not a dry sandwich.Another successful selection by me. ;) Onward to #4.

Music sucks. Sandwiches rock. Service was fast.I found this was a new spot and I'm a sucker for sandwiches. I wanted to try all the sandwiches but you can only eat so much.I got the Meatball and the Special #33 with red peppers and mozzarella cheese. All round pretty tasty sandwiches.I'm just not a fan of whatever music was playing.

Just like being back home in Philly. Guys there are the best. The food is perfect, cheese steaks are better that Philly, Chicken Parm I extremely good, but the best is the Italian, just ask for the sweet and hot capicola.
