Heights Drive Inn

They don't have food there but they let you bring your own and they also allow food trucks to sell here! The bathrooms were pretty clean and the bartender was nice so you can say they have pretty solid service! They had a few games indoors as well to keep the fun going. 10/10 little spot. Parking does suck tho so prepare yourself.

Heights drive in is only a few months young but it's already proven itself to be a great neighborhood bar and hangout! They have a solid drink menu comprised of cocktails and a great beer selection- both on tap and by the bottle and can. The patio is HUGE and filled with picnic tables. Indoors you can find large TVs to watch games and a pool table if you're feeling competitive (bring cash/coin to play!) The Brillo Torch and Lavender Gimlet cocktails were great and we enjoyed a mellow crowd on a Sunday evening indoors. They don't have a food menu but allow you to bring in your own or door dash/Uber eats.

The perfect neighborhood bar, always a great time! I've tried a few of the local bars near me but none do it as well as Heights Drive Inn. From the bartenders, the drinks, ambiance and music! This place is, it! Even better, if you can walk there.

Been once and can't wait to go back. Not only knowledgeable about drinks, but staff is super personable. Good outdoor area in the back and the vibe inside is so chill. Billiards, darts, not trying to hard. Only drawback is the parking. Heard they are going to maybe start more food truck options. Next to the outdoor area is a decent green space....hoping bands and maybe bags in the future. Also super dog friendly...inside and out.

This place is one of my favorites for a chill night out. My friends and I usually come here for the drinks, darts, and just to hang out. The inside is pretty nice - it has a small town/local feeling even though it's in a big city. The back patio is also nice - there's usually someone out back making and selling food which always smells great. One of my favorite chill bars in the area and I'd definitely recommend!

This is a very good bar especially when the weather is nice. It is open air style like an ice house. Full bar and nice craft beer choices. They offer bar games like darts, billiards, and shuffle board. In the nice outdoor space bocce and corn hole.Awesome staff.

I've been to the heights a few times now and it's always a good time. Me and my friends usually go here to end the night, after we've done something else. We love playing darts (although we're not super good at it). The outside seating area is also pretty nice. Last time they had people making food and the smells were amazing.The bar is always a normal amount of busy. There's usually still seating, but it doesn't feel completely empty. It's a more comfortable and intimate environment. Parking can be a bit challenging. There's a lot across the street that has no signs though, so we usually park there.The drinks tend to be pretty decent. A whisky sour is around $6 and a Long Island is around $15. Sometimes they're hit or miss, but usually I've been satisfied.The last time we went they played really good music, but it was incredibly loud. Overall, i always enjoy going to the heights drive inn!

A fantastic Sunset Heights neighborhood bar. Friendly bartender Kate, great selection of local craft beer, delicious cocktails and certain hard to find bourbons. Outside area is great on these fine spring evenings. Look forward to seeing you here!

Haven't had the food yet, but the atmosphere and the beer is good and I like how they play every type of music.

I have really enjoyed this place in the past, but I recently had a baby and attempted to go here with my husband on a slow Saturday afternoon. Upon entering, we were told we were not allowed to come in with the baby (who was sleeping quietly). Dogs are allowed indoors, but babies are not. I am giving it 2.5 stars only because we have enjoyed it so much in the past and have been loyal customers, but will unfortunately not be able to come back. It is a family friendly neighborhood/location, but not a family friendly business.
