Hearsay on the Green

Food: really good! I finished my entire plate, it was a tasty plate of food. Service: no problems, happy with it!Ambiance: cute spot, beautiful bar, giving downtown vibes overall nice!

This place is one of the few where I can get a smoked old fashioned. A devine location for happy hours, date nights, or weekend pleasure. Food and service is top notch and it's always a treat finding a place like this. It gives off "hole in the wall" vibes, but from the drinks to the presentation of the food, you will not be disappointed

Yum x100!!! Came here before the browns vs Texans playoff game and everything was amazing. Sat at the bar and had great service. The deviled eggs as an appetizer were so good! I got a blueberry mocktail and it was delicious. Husband got the chicken and waffles and loved it. I got the redfish tacos and I am still dreaming about those!! Must get!!

Anthony was our server/bar tender and he's amazing !We tried so many things and just LOVED everything. Favorites were egg rolls, patty melt, and tuna tacos !

Everything about this location of Hearsay is on point, from atmosphere to the bar wait staff. When the management interacts with its patrons you know it brings the experience all that more enjoyable. Ozgur is top notch mixologist

Dined at Hearsay on the Green for a late lunch/early dinner after the We Are Houston 5k and marathon Expo this past weekend. We had a group of six who were all treated to great service by Jonathan B. I ordered the Hearsay Cheeseburger (sans cheese) and really enjoyed the applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and the chipotle aioli. I ordered the burger medium rare and it was actually prepared just the way I like it, WOO! The star of the show was the rosemary parmesan fries that accompanied the hamburger. The restaurant is attached to a hotel downtown so the bathrooms are actually inside the hotel. Not a huge deal, it was a nice spot and I'd be curious to try some more of the items on the menu. My dining companions all enjoyed their selections as well.

It's been a few years since I've eaten at Hearsay OTG. My Yelp BFF Justin T. treated me to a belated birthday dinner. Hearsay wasn't initially my first choice because I had eaten dinner at the Market Square location a few weeks prior, but the location was ideal, Justin had never eaten at Hearsay, and I knew it would be good. I made a reservation on Open Table. I don't know if the wait times are like the Market Square location, but I would make a resy just to be safe. The restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived for dinner. Our server was Juan. He was cool and gave us good recs.I started with the Flaming Leah. I've had this drink before and it is very good and refreshing. It has vodka, strawberry, mint, line juice, and sugar.For my entrée I had the Kung Pao Salmon. This was fantastic! The dish was so good and flavorful! The salmon was cooked perfectly. The cilantro rice and bacon Brussels Sprouts elevated this dish! There were so many flavors, but they complimented each other. I don't know if I was starving or what, but I devoured it. I would definitely order this dish again. For dessert, I had the bread pudding. It was delicious! I preferred this over the dessert that Justin ordered (the S'mores Cake). Hearsay is a great option for dinner and/or drinks, especially if you're going downtown for a concert or a game. Hopefully it won't be years before I return.

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Hearsay restaurant. Great food, a 10.The manager, Ozzie, was so personable and a great host.

I choose Hearsay on the Green for Houston Restaurant Week & the service & vibes were on point! Tucked in right by the embassy suites, the AC was blowing cool and the servers were very attentive. The food was just okay. I ordered the Denver steak with green beans & mashed potatoes and while I am not chef, I could have created this meal at home. The lack of seasoning in all parts of the meal was quite the disappointment.

The food was amazing, drinks also amazing. I loved eat here and watch the game passing time. I went here before I went to the toyota Center.About a good 6 minute walk. A bit busy around the time I went, 5-6. Now it may not normally be busy during those times but looks like some school events in the area are packing it out. I didnt mind though. Bar seats were comfortable.The only thing i didnt like is it took a long time for me to order my food. I got a drink and had to wait nearly until i finished my first drink. Now i'm not picky, so it didnt necessarily break the place for me but it is noticeable, especially when you're hungry. Anywho, i'll be back. Loved the one in Arlington too:)
