Service was friendly and fast! It was a little chilly out and they even said they would bring it to my car when it was ready. The sandwich was tasty and I would definitely try it again. Conveniently located across from Publix, I recommend supporting this small business and hope they do well!

Havana Spin is a Cuban food truck that sits on Ten-Ten Road near the corner of Kildaire Farm Road. My mom and I visited for lunch and split a ham croqueta, tamale and cuban sandwich. The food was good and a few other menu items caught my eye so I'll have to return soon to try those.

My husband who was born and raised in Tampa has been looking for a place here in NC to get some authentic Cuban food, so we stopped and tried this food truck. There are picnic tables set up outside under a canopy so it makes nice place to eat your meal, however if it's cold or raining outside, it would not be ideal. We spoke to the owed who was really nice, and stated stated he was from Cuban, but had moved to the US about 12 years ago. We ordered Croquetas and a Cuban sandwich. The food was hot because it was made to order. The Croquetas had a crispy outside crunch and a very creamy center. They were perfectly seasoned and very delightful to eat. We were a little disappointed with the Cuban. I did ask the owner ahead of time if they had a press for the sandwich before he ordered it, and he replied, yes they did. However, when we got our sandwich, we realize they had used a Panini press instead of a press. The sandwich had a good amount of meat on it, and all the ingredients were there, EXCEPT it was on French Bread, not Cuban bread. I gave this place 3 stars because the food was edible, but not as authentic as we had hoped.

Found a listing for this food truck on StreetFoodFinder and went specifically for the papas rellenas. It was very easy to find, right across from a Publix shopping center with a little parking lot and eating area of its own. Decided to try the fried pork plate too. Huge portion of black beans (Sheila likey) and rice with big chunks of absolutely delicious pork. Also had French fries and what they call vegetables (shredded lettuce and tomatoes with a few pieces of corn and peas). The papas rellenas were really tasty. Needed a bit of salt, but a solid snack.I'm a big eater and don't think I'm going to finish this in one setting.
