Harold's Chicken & Ice Bar Old National

This spot is for all my GROWN FOLKS and trusttt it's always packed in here on the weekends. If you enjoy good music, good hookah, and good people this is the spot to be. Old national is about the only place to find fun on the southside. You'd be a fool not come to a spot where they serve the best chicken, literally in a bar!!

Chicken was tender on the inside crispy on the outside portions was large flavor was good there was ice cold

Food came out hot and delicious. Service was a little slow but the hot food made up for it.

Great happy hour! The chicken and fish is always BUSSIN and too hot to eat. The service is a little slow but it is usually because it is either too lit or too slow for them to keep checking. And the vibe is dope there is always music playing via dj or playlist.

The customer service was excellent but the tenders and fries were warm. I'm not sure if was because the order was just sitting around because of the long line or if it was volume cooked ahead of time to accommodate the packed restaurant but to me it wouldn't be another visit.

This use to be one of our favorite places to come. Not sure what happened over the last year, but the service has DECLINED SIGNIFICANTLY! Our last 5-6 visits we've tried coming on the weekends, weekdays, daytime and evening- all the same experience, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Food is good, but the servers are careless, slow and inattentive. The ladies are so focused on sitting down in that side booth talking and smoking hookah instead of attending to their tables. It's been a good 8 years, but we won't be returning.

I wanted this place to be good so bad but was mightily disappointed. I paid half a bill for 2 orders of chicken & waffles but got $10 worth of food. I ate and still hungry... never happened before with c&w. Basically a flat Eggo and chicken. The joint next door was poppin, should've went there. This place was emptier than a klan meeting in Harlem. To add insult to injury they added 18% tip for takeout. They make you pay first bc you will feel scammed!HOURS LATEROh no, now I'm feeling sick from the chicken! It did taste a lil old.

DO NOT go to this place in this inflationary econom. the add outrage fees while expecting you to tips with poor service. Management/owner is easy to fight you and throw you of for poor service. They lack the basic customer service etiquette needed to remedy as simple situation. instead what you will get is aggression and threats of violence from every level of staff. to whom is reading this just be safe. this place will not meet any expectations you may have!

Worst experience ever. Shorted me a wing. Also gave me the wrong soda and said that's what they rung up and reiterated that there are no refunds. Black owned businesses have to be better to continue to be supported. Make sure that your policies don't cause u to miss opportunities to make things better to make sure that u get continued business. I'm from Chicago, so I want to see Harold succeed, but what I experienced was trash service. It literally took the young lady 20 mins after going grocery shopping back n forth about your policy to make it right! I am a senior leader in the largest firm in the world right here in Dallas. No way am I trying to nickel n dime a black owned business as I am black, but I have a standard when it comes to proper service and this ain't it!
