This is the place to geaux to get your Cajun on! From the atmosphere to the foods to the music -this new little gem has it all! It's totally worth a side trip from HTx. I stock up my freezer when I go. They make fresh gumbo, etouffee, shrimp corn chowder, red beans/rice & more to grab and go. There's a coffee bar and a hot prepared foods section as well as gifts & seasoning galore.They have a veteran's wall with pics of family members which I thought was really nice. Everywhere you look, there is attention to detail. The owners are from a long line of Cajun's and the food definitely reflects that .I'll be returning for sure!

Got the pleasure of attending a party which was catered by Hap's selection was awesome! 3 types of sausage, boudin balls, crawfish pies, and a build your own shrimp poboy! Everything was delicious and setup was great!

The food here was delicious. I had the lunch, special red beans and rice. it had sausage in it and it was so delicious and some shredded meat. The cornbread was extra moist. And I ordered a side piece of sausage that had cheese inside of it and it was so delicious. And they have coolers full of food that's prepared that you can take home cooking your own oven I really recommend this place.

I was passing thru and noticed their sign. I had to make a u-turn. I'm glad that I did. I had a pepper jack boudin ball and a meat pie. Both were great. I look forward to trying more on the menu. The owner was very nice.

This is the best place to buy sausage. Also the chicken and sausage gumbo is great. I visit this place once or twice a month. You will not be disappointed....great people!

My wife and I stopped in today for the first time today and we were greeted by the owner who made us feel very welcomed.Upon trying some of food that already prepared we were hooked, the food is truly authentic Cajun we will be back.

Great fish corn chowder! Authentic Cajun seasonings and food. Enjoyed meeting and visiting with Chris the owner - he's the real deal, community minded, caring and kind. But... I'm not reviewing him (5 star), .... his soup/stews are delicious.They have a great 5 gal bucket (available to purchase) to make gumbo, chowders and cajun soups/stews. If we ate more cajun... we would have picked one up.
