Happy Fast Food

I went to happy fast food caise it was on my way to work. I had the shrimp fries rice with chicken. The restaurant didn't habe an inviting atmosphere. It reeked of stale old oil. The lady behind the cash register was not friendly at all. I could tell she hated her job. The food quality was atrocious. The chicken. Was drowned in cook oil. I think there was enough grease on just one piece of chicken to clog a healthy heart. The chicken tasted awful cause it was cooked in that stale old oil. The shrimp fried rice was ok

The food was pretty good and portion size was great. Service was speedy and clean. It's a small restaurant but still big enough for Groups & family

Never have I ever wanted to throw food away. I have now. I got lo mein with chicken and broccoli and fried rice. Nothing tasted good. The rice tasted days old and the sauces were bland and the meat was chewy and nasty. Never again.

I ordered online and was delivered by grubhub and I didn't get what I ordered. The Fries was not fresh and didn't get any of the sauces I requested. I wish I can get my money back because I was super hungry right off an 18 hours flight.

Really?! Fast Food can be happy? See the picture for proof [eggroll with mustard smile]. And, Jimmy Durante's song "Make Someone Happy" pops in my head, so I have to try the place. It is my Yelp non-profit-for-me duty.Surprise, the food is mediocre for this small place in a below par strip mall in a downscale neighborhood with lots of apartments.The menu selections are typical. The food looks like short cuts have been taken, as is typical in most Chinese restaurants these days. Photos of the dishes are pasted on the window for prospective customers, but the photos are not that enticing.But I like the name of the place. How nice of the owner to pick an upbeat name, instead of the computer-generated random 2 or 3 word mix of imperial, empress, garden, etc.pum, pum, Pumpum, pum, PumMake eggroll happy,Make just one eggroll happy, ...

If I could give a zero I would !! They didn't allow me to eat inside although they had tables and chairs. I ordered and the lady was very rude and had an attitude. She later yelled at me on my way out. Very unprofessional! Business should understand without customers their is no business so treat us with kindness. I do not recommend this place at all

Excellent lunch spot for this neighborhood. I was beyond happy that I found Happy Fast Food right around the corner from my auto mechanic. My tummy was happy. My wallet was happy. I walked in to expect the food aroma. But this restaurant doesn't smell like other Chinese restaurants. It's because they have separate ventilation systems. Kitchen smell doesn't flow into the dining area. No wonder a customer walked in and said "it stinks". But he told the manager how delicious the food was last time. That was why they returned. Yeah, where can you find lunch for less than $9.00? Lunch combo comes with soda, egg roll, 2 scoops of rice and one entree. I ordered Curry Chicken. The chicken strips tasted better than chicken chunks at other restaurants. So tender and flavorful. If I work or live around here, I would visit them weekly.

I order 4 wings and extra spicy shrimp fried rice each time. Always hot and fresh and spicy. I've not had any issues here. The people are friendly and service is fast.

Now I see where the negative reviews are coming from.... I placed an order online via BeyondMenu. Everything went well until I got there and Ms. Happy told me that the order had been cancelled. I assured her that it had not been cancelled and showed her my receipt on my phone. She didn't care what I said and pretended not to understand me. She repeatedly asked me if I wanted to place an order. When I called BeyondMenu they said that the order had gone through. Ms. Happy took my phone and told BeyondMenu that she did not want to use their services any longer. It was obviously the first that they were hearing of it from her. I got a refund from BeyondMenu. They are a good company.

Love the spicy fried rice and the BEST EGG ROLLS EVER !! I always will go 8.5/10 this place is affordable 2
