Unassuming sushi in a shopping centerAfter a long weekend of so many different foods I wanted some good, fresh sushi. I ended up doing a special sashimi flight, some salmon & aburi salmon belly nigiri and a spicy tuna roll. All were very good and hit the spot just right. The details of this restaurant are so nice. Super cute inside. Ambiance is just right for all occasions. I thought the prices didn't match the interior (in a good way!). They have two happy hours everyday which is a bonus. 4:30-5:30 and again at 8:30 to close

Came here because this was highly recommended as similar to sushi den and temaki den. But I think that's being generous. The nigiri just aren't quite as melt-in-your-mouth. Still tasty but just not as tasty. The regular hamachi nigiri and the tuna nigiri flight were some of the better pieces.Otherwise, the ambiance is nice and the drinks are great. We also enjoyed the rolls and crispy tuna appetizer. The happy hour seems enticing - we'll plan to be back for that!

First timer. Extensive menu. Beautiful outdoor patio. Lots of seating inside. The fish was fresh and displayed well. Prices for the sushi and sashimi is moderately high but so are its competitors' prices - it's the world we live in. The food was very good from the miso soup to the sashimi as was the service. There is one negative they can't resolve and that is the restaurant is in the middle of a large restaurant and hotels complex in Glendale. It can't be seen from the street and parking spaces near the restaurant are hard to find if you come during normal dining hours.

I love seeing all the new restaurants in the Glendale area and Hana Matsuri is a fantastic addition if you love sushi and sashimi and a spot that closes a bit later (10:30pm on weekends). The space is beautiful and definitely goes well with the elevated ambiance and dishes. The quality of the sushi and sashimi is good and is on par with the mid range spots here in Denver. I think where they really shine is on the sushi side. The food we had from the kitchen was nothing special. They also have a happy hour from 4:30-5:30pm and 8:30-close where you can get discounts on appetizers and drinks.

This place is tucked away a bit off of Colorado Blvd, if you can be tucked away on Colorado Blvd. I'm glad to find this place though. The ambience is very sleek, modern, and clean. They have some TVs in the main dining room that felt out of place. But I also got to catch a little bit of the NFL playoffs, soooo ....The food is great. The sushi is fresh and the teriyaki steak is delicious. Even the miso soup is worth noting because it actually has a decent amount of tofu and seaweed compared with most places. I have been here twice in the last month and I expect to visit regularly. It's a great location and is not as packed as many of the other sushi places around town ...for now.

I can honestly say this is the first sushi spot in Denver that has made me rethink my favorite since 2018 (when Uchi first opened) -- and being a huge lover of sushi, I take that statement very seriously. Hana Matsuri the 3rd of the family-owned Hana Matsuri locations in Colorado, but it is distinctly different, both in atmosphere and food. Under the direction of renowned Chef Duy Pham (with 30+ years of experience in Colorado restaurants) -- this spot has truly blossomed. The standout is that this location offers a phenomenal omakase (of 20-ish creative pieces) for just $150/person! Think anything from the most delectable flame-seared toro, to monkfish liver, to uni & caviar on oysters. PRO TIP: you must call 1-2 days in advance to request the omakase menu, and it's only offered at 6 or 8pm.Even if you don't come for the omakase, the other options here are AMAZING. I've been shoveling sushi in my face for many years, and there are fish being flown in fresh here that I've never even heard of. For example, I had flying fish (tobiuo) for the first time! Not to be missed are also the aburi options (a specialty of theirs). Aburi means lightly-seared with a flame, and I think it's the best way to keep fish raw, but bring out more flavor. Toro tuna and salmon belly are the obvious choices (pictured), but there's also lobster, scallop, escolar, and more.Even for non-fish people, there's something delicious here. Try the hot rock -- which comes with an option of kobe beef, truffle duck, lamb chop, or chicken tenders. The fluffy molten chocolate "cake" definitely made the "worth it" list, despite my gluten intolerance. Must try!

Hana Matsuri Sushi is situated inside a plaza of couple of hotels and short walking distance for their guests. I highly recommend you check out the recommendations of the waitress. I like the octopus appetizer and seared salmon nigiri.
