Needed to get food while waiting to get checked into the hotel, and Stumbled across this restaurant. The place looks like a small diner nothing fancy but looked clean. Aminta was our waitress very friendly and throughout, there wasn't a long way to get our food. The food had a homemade vibes to it, which was great everybody was satisfied with their meal. I ordered the catfish and grits. I wish the catfish was fresh. It was frozen fillet. but it was alright I wouldn't order it again but the grits was definitely very good.

Great little neighborhood spot! I've only ordered delivery and it usually comes pretty quickly. Breakfast tastes homemade without the hassle of making it yourself, and at a nice price too. Love the pancakes and cheese eggs!

Went to go eat there and the place was a disaster with boxes and to go items everywhere. No place to sit and a complete mess.

So, it's a routine for my sister to walk her dog at the dog park and head on over to Hamilton Restaurant for breakfast. Well, today she heads over to grab breakfast after walking her dog; she's elderly and so is her pup. She asked for a cup of water after placing her order for her dog and was flat out refused. This was not very kind of them to refuse a customer Water especially since she patronizes them on a regular. Needless to say she was very confused and did not feel valued as a customer. This restaurant has no compassion for animals and no compassion for elderly patrons. Needless to say she won't be returning

My first time trying this restaurant very very Rude!!!! I called to place a order in advance and the owner was very nasty. Had no patience when trying to give details on what I wanted. Before I could tell him the next order he hung up on me. I called back to say hey I have more things to order because my order was not complete , he said very busy and hung up again. When I got to the store 5min later there was one customer and he was not very busy just very nasty and rude. Customer service is everything!!!! I didn't even want my food anymore. First time not coming back.

I love that there's a place near campus that serves hearty diner food. Here you can find the kind of fast, simple breakfast that is just a little too oily and buttery but all the more delicious for it! We ordered:+ ham and cheese omelet (comes with your choice of grits or home fries -- I ordered the Home fries with green pepper. I liked the dish! It's just what you would expect, nothing fancy, but it fills you up in a feel-good way)+ 2 eggs with beef sausage (my boyfriend ordered this, also with home fries. It comes with toast, which is very well buttered. He said he was very satisfied)+ hotcakes (stack of three, plenty of butter. Very fluffy!)Loved the old fashioned chrome stools as well. Definitely coming back in the future for more breakfast in a pleasant, unassuming space.

Food: 3.75 Out of 5Nothing fancy no frills diner. For my breakfast of 2 eggs over easy, 2 sausage links, house potatoes, and 2 slices of rye toast it cost me about $9.75.Service: 5 Out 5The lady serving me was quick to welcome me and take my order.Environment: 4 Out of 5Standard diner layout, plenty of counter space and a handful of tables.Overall: 4 Out of 5When your body is craving that greasy spoon come over to this joint. This place still has that neighborhood feel with friendly folks serving you. Don't expect that fancy brunch place special!

Now that I am spending more time at the USCIS building on 41st Street, and the immigration interviews and other proceedings start as early at 8:00 am, I need a place to cool my jets over coffee or breakfast while I wait to be heard. I learned long ago that it is better to arrive early and wait for court or other meetings, than to deal with heavier traffic later in the morning, and risk arriving late. Today, I asked one of the guards in the security area where to go for coffee until the public was allowed into the building at 7:30. He was thoughtful and thorough, giving me a list of places within a few blocks. When he mentioned the restaurant on Market Street that had a full breakfast menu, he showed more enthusiasm then for the others mentioned, so I took my clients there for morning repast. Turned out that Hamilton Restaurant is an old school luncheonette, with long counter with spinners on one side, and tables on the other. Kitchen in back. The offerings were plentiful, with both breakfast and lunch available during open hours. We opted for a couple of omelets (w/ home fries), turkey sage sausage, egg & cheese on Kaiser roll, and a grilled blueberry muffin. Ten minutes later we were served by a very friendly and considerate woman, who seemed to anticipate our needs. That was unexpected and exceptional. Our food was very good. The omelets were stuffed to the gills with the cheesesteak and sausage fillings two of them wanted, while my sandwich was not overly large, but very tasty with the turkey sage sausage a surprise star of the show. Very happy with that recommendation. The muffin had a strong resemblance to Costco muffins, but there were no complaints. Coffee was strong and the request that one be half milk, well received and delivered. This location is beyond the spreading influence of UPenn and Drexel. That means that it is still an original joint that has not been gentrified yet. The cozy neighborhood atmosphere was palpable, and the prices reflective of that. Very happy to find a place where I can eat and be comfortable while waiting to go to work.
