Halal Food Truck

I continue to be amazed by both the quality and quantity of food provided for less than $10! They even throw in a drink.This food truck offers sandwiches, platters over rice, or platters over salad (or a combination of rice and salad). I opt for the platter over salad every time, switching between lamb and falafel. They put white and hot sauce to your preference.I do not know there formal hours, but I typically catch them right before they pack up between 7 and 8pm. The cart is quick with extremely friendly service. Check them out!

Tried for the first time. Disappointed in the taste of the falafel. On the positive side the food was fresh and hot.

Best halal cart around. Try to eat it every weekend and the guys that work there are friendly and very accommodating

Now that I finally tried the Roxborough famous halal cart I can't go anywhere else!! The potions are generous and the food is DELICIOUS! $6 platters with free drink. Can't get better than that! You can also call ahead (number listed in the picture)

This Halal Food Truck is the best!! The food is delicious and the individuals who run the cart are so nice and attentive! The spices on the lamb and the tenderness of the meat is outstanding. The falafel is some of the freshest falafel I have ever had. The sauces are outstanding and complete any dish on the menu. Also the prices can't be beat!

Here is the order I placed, in store, on 02/04/20:Chicken over Salad (drink incl)Fish over Salad (drink incl)Total: $12Making less decisions daily has become a keystone for me as of late. 'What to eat for lunch' is one of those decisions that I wanted to eliminate immediately. I figured salad (or more specifically, no carbs) would prove most beneficial. My personal preference is Kosher/ Halal so that gave me wiggle room in the area of meats. To prepare for a worst-case scenario I gave myself a budget, less than $10 a day. The halal food truck on Ridge & Leverington checks all my boxes and this one is top notch. The guy that operates it is super friendly (not that I've ever experienced anything less elsewhere) and the food is delicious. I can have chicken/lamb/fish/falafel or a combo (chicken and lamb) with or without onions, cucumbers or the famous white sauce/hot sauce. Oh the possibilities!A drink is included in the price - canned soda or bottled water. Cant beat it! I'll definitely be back. A lot.

I've had the . falafel and chicken sandwiches 3x at this halal food truck. This cart is pretty good. Sandwiches are $6, which Seems fair in our inflation ridden time. (Free drinks are included with every sandwich which seems customary with most food carts I've been to.) I'm giving 2stars because I try for the most part to-get organic provisions. I wish these trucks would enter into having non chemical grub, accordingly. Free range chickens are happierthan hundreds of birds penned in horrible cramped states.Come on. (And the latter are the chickens we're having at these carts. Everyone should be aware of that.) My other difficulty with this truck is that the wraps are always problematic to eat because the sauce they're covered in are flowing from the wrapping paper, that's always under the foil that's the additional sandwich casing. Finally having made tahini sauce many times the recipe I use calls for several cloves of garlic but whenever I get Falafel wraps at these carts this great ingredient which makes the tahini sauce so delicious seems not included. I wouldn't be surprised if the above is about money. That's sad.

Not a better cart in the city fr. Always hook you up with the best quality food how you want and super quick making it too.

It was so good y'all. big portions and only $8 with a drink. The man was so nice and worked quickly. Highly recommend.

Friendly people and tasty food. Falafel pita is my fave. White sauce & the spicy red is a great combination. Pita sandwiches ($6) platters ($8) & come with a can of soda.
