New owners are amazing. Always helpful. The meat is best you'll get, especially ground beef! Wouldn't buy ground beef anywhere else in this area!!! The sausage and steak are also top tier. They have cool hats and awesome assortment of liquor as well. Nothing beats a hometown business! Can't recommend them enough!!! Great guys feels like Conroe in this store. Great environment too!

I stopped in just to pick up some vodka and was surprised to have been greeted by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable young man who practically gave me a thorough education and updated me on everything going on in the world of "liquor." Do you know they are not only making flavored rum and vodka but now have flavored bourban and tequilla? Ya - me either . . if you want more info - stop by. I wish I had gotten his name.

Very friendly staff! !!! They took their time helping me with all my questions about wine and pairing with food. If one couldn't answer my questions they refereed me to another employee that could help. They even cater to weddings! ! If they don't have it, they will order it for you. I recommend this friendly, happy store to everyone! !!!!

I want to inform the great believers in Yelp; I had a negative experience at H&S liquor on June 13th. In the month of March, I was referred to H&S liquor because they delivered and I'm getting married at a local venue. First of all, I recognize that I'm a preparer, and only had 4 months to get organized. As soon as I obtained their number I was on the phone. I was asked to provide my contact information, so the "manager" could call me back. Great, I felt I was getting the ball rolling. After no callbacks in 2 weeks, I decided to call them again. I was AGAIN asked to provide my contact information, so the "manager" could call me back. Yet another two weeks went by with no call backs. I regretfully called them again; I was astonished to be able to speak to a "manager" live on the phone. We discussed all the alcohol I needed for the wedding, and was told I would be emailed an invoice. I again waited, then waited, then waited, after 1 month I received an inaccurate invoice. I replied the same day I received the email on May 8, 2014, with updated and accurate information. I also asked a question, but no response. The wedding date is June 27, 2014, and on June 13, 2014 I decided to forward my sent email on May 8th, 2014. In a nice manner I expressed how disappointed I was in their service. The only response that I received was an update invoice and it read, "Thanks". I feel very disappointed with this interaction, I feel as if I was bothering them by trying to use their business. I believe that if I never emailed them back, I wouldn't have ever been contacted by them again. To fix this situation, I hired Premier Beverages. Not only did I order from them in one day, DELIVERED, they were very nice and respectful. I wouldn't recommend H&S to anyone, even if I had to go pick up the beverages on the same day as my wedding.
