Gyro Republic

Came here on Christmas Eve when everything else was closed. It was very busy but the staff took their time to go over my gluten, soy, dairy, beef and paprika food sensitivities to see what I can have. Despite all the long lines, they had excellent customer service. They make their falafels and fries fresh and they're always so good! We order a rice and salad bowl combo over chicken. You can order small, regular or large. Their toppings are fresh and the meats are tasty. Meats : gyro, chicken or spicy chicken. Toppings: lettuce, cucumbers , onions, bell peppers, olives, pickles, jalapeños, corn, and cheese. I couldn't try the sauces but my husband gave 2 thumbs up for the white and the tzatziki sauce. Love that they have both indoor and patio seating! Overall, great food and experience. We will be frequenting this restaurant more frequently especially since they are favorable for my food sensitivities.

Service was fast and friendly. I had the mixed protein salad, hubby had the falafel burrito (it's huge), and daughter had the kid's chicken rice bowl. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. We also ordered fries made fresh to order. They were good. Very potatoe-y center and crispy outside. Definitely coming back as a fast food option.

Tried out this Gyro spot on my Texas trip and I must say this was fabulous! It was a chipotle style set up but for Mediterranean food which I love because I'm queen of customizing my food. I tried their loaded fries and put: Falafal as my protein, olives, corn, I a little lettuce ( I know, weird. But wasn't bad!), cucumbers, tomatoes, jalapeños, chickpeas and loaded it with 3 fantastic sauces which brought it home for me: creamy white sauce, mild orange, and can't ever forget tzatziki. Try this if your want something different!

Firstly, I'd like to advise anyone trying to decide whether to eat here or not. Filter the reviews here by lowest. I 1000% agree with every bad review this place has and here's more to add to that.1) Whoever owns this location doesn't deserve to have this business. I hope it goes out of business, or a better businessman or woman comes in and takes over.2) If one of the staff tells you they are the manager don't believe them, they lie to you. The manager is likely never here probably only to pick up money and tell the staff to offer a free drink to anyone who has to wait too long and to make sure they only give you one little sauce per dish.3) This location only cares about there bottom line, they can careless about you.4) Whoever sits there and responds to each of these reviews is only doing so to do damage control, when what they really need is a wake up call. They need better work/owning ethics and need to get a deep training on how to run a business and keeping customers happy. Not every customer is trying to get something for free.

Nice friendly service but the food just hasn't been good every time that I've tried this place. The chicken is always super dry. Not sure if the chicken has been sitting out for a long time but it was pretty bad. Not sure I would give this place another chance.

First time going to the store after my husband brought me a take out one night. Food is average. Tell me why the employees are lacking in training. There were 4 people in the counter, but they were soooo disorganized. It's so painful to watch. They were busy doing their own "thing" and there is no communication, no team work, nothing, nada, zip. They busy talking among themself. Was there store busy? Nope.. there is only 2 other people waiting for their food and with me being the only one in line. Pls train your staff.

I tried Gyro Republic for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised! It was delicious! I got the chicken bowl and added a bunch of stuff inside, it was so so good. The chicken was tender and the flavors were all good. I tried all three sauces and loved them. It could have been hotter but I was a pick up order so dining in is probably your best bet at the freshest food.I got the regular sized bowl (there is small, regular, and a bigger size) and they give you a lot! I will definitely be back!!

Demolished my food & fresh juice (made without water or sugar huge win) before I could take a picture, but, that should tell you how good it was. Destiny and her coworker helped me today, and they were both so kind/ lively, regardless of the lunch rush. Give those two a raise! Cava just opened right down the street, but I don't care, I'm going to keep coming back here. To gyro republic: Thank you

Whenever I am craving some quick Mediterranean food, I head down to Gyro Republic! They are a chain restaurant, but never seem to disappoint. This specific local in the Aliana area is a bit small inside, but they do have a front patio, and indoor seating. I'd like to describe this place as "Chipotle" or "Subway" style, where you can have a Gyro or bowl built in front of you with all the ingredients that you desire. In the past I've had their gyros, and have either chosen lamb or falafel. On other occasions, I've simply just been in a mode for some hummus and pita bread. They make delicious hummus! Usually the service is pretty descent. Not out of this world, but you'll find some young kiddos just working the front. On my last visit I had a bowl with the lamb mix, and a side of falafel, along with a fountain drink. It definitely hit the spot as we kick of the new year. Not too expensive either, which is always a plus.

This is my first time ordering from this restaurant. I ordered 4 chicken sandwiches using UberEats and none of them came with any sauce. I could add toppings when ordering but the system did not ask about sauce so by default I assume the sauce came with it. All pita sandwiches come with sauce, right?? I was wrong. Not sure whose fault it is (UberEats' or Gyro Republic's) but they have to fix the option at UberEats app. It's so disappointing. What makes chicken pita sandwich good is the sauce. Mine are all tasteless. Gyro Republic, please do something about this.
