Gyro Republic

I am still going to give this place 5 stars even though the fella that made my sandwich was a little rude and passive aggressive, for no reason. I could tell he would have rather been home sleeping. Anyways The food was very good the fries was very crispy and seasoned to perfection. The establishment was clean but it is not ideal for a large crowed, 4 at the max. I found it really funny that they charge extra for shredded cheese lol. I got the gyro pita combo which was a mix of chicken and gyro. And I also got some fries .all in all the food was good, but I think I'll try gyro kingz next time

Why am I not surprised about Gyro Republic being just meh? Like other review said, gyro meat is in chunks. I paid 35 cents extra for watered down Tzatziki Dressing.I was here because I needed some printing done at FedEx Office next door. As I walked toward, I smell something delicious. I saw the lunch special on an easel sign but there was no price. Once I walked in, I saw 2 menus, one on the counter divider and one above. The menu is confusing. Menu board is right to left, like Hieroglyphs. Order instruction on the counter divider is hard to read through a clear glass panel.Stupid me that I signed up for loyalty program before trying the food. The medium bowl stuffed me good, though. I'll try other proteins after inflation is cool down. Yeah, $12 lunch is little beyond my budget.

If you could rate gyros by past and current US presidents, this gyro would be the joe biden of gyros, they suck. Staff is friendly not your typical San Antonio vale vergas employees, but the gyros suck.

Food was delicious. Got the combo over rice. Straight fire Huge portions for my Buck. Fries were dank too. I would go daily if I didn't live in Austin

Great place, awesome food! The food is so good and the customer service is 5 stars. Angel was the person that helped us with our order. He was awesome, knowledgeable, & efficient. We came during dinner time and it was nice and quiet. The music selection that was playing was perfect. So glad I stopped here to eat! I'll definitely be back!

The food was good. The service was adequate and fast. No complaints. I'd go a next time if Im looking for a gyro.

The food is good but these people that work here are high or something because this is the third time they've messed up my order. Yeah I should've checked before leaving but they completely forgot to put any chicken on a chicken bowl. Like what???

I really wanted to Gyro. Yelp told me to go here. I ordered online. When I arrived, the food was ready. I opened it at my home. It seemed that it was smaller than what I expected. Half of the bowl was fulled of veggies. Thank you for thinking about my health. lol. I like the name of the restaurant. There is no King in Gyro restaurants, Hope you guys can win the war of Gyros in Houston!

D'jour was very helpful and friendly. He made sure I was taken care of. Awesome food as always. Will definitely return.

Ok so I don't do these at all. However I found a site worth doing a yelp for. Gyro King at the corner of old Spanish trail and Almeda road serves the best lamb over rice I've ever had in my life. Don't believe me just go by and check them out for yourself
