It was aaammmaaazziinnnggg!! The lamb rice was tasty! Definitely recommend this place.

Possibly the most consistently good chicken, lamb or combination over rice in Houston. Been a customer since their food truck on Old Spanish Trail. Only knock on this place is their hummus, you can skip it here. I really have no other words than it's a must try.

Best lamb salad! I order this at Gyro King at least once a week. It's consistently fresh and delicious! Generously portions!

I ordered the chicken over rice platter and it was pretty decent. I felt like it was missing something I can't quite put my finger on. Maybe the tzaiki sauce that leaned toward a ranch sauce. Either way, it was tasty and I'd go back to try the gyros. Service was very quick and friendly!

Love their lamb gyro plate! We last got 2 plates from here, lamb and chicken. The prices are good and the service is quick each time we go. In regards to flavor and how well cooked everything is, it's incredibly reliable and go to spot for us.

Not exactly what I expected but then again we are in Texas? Evidently has some roots from NY or NJ area and then came out to the Lone Star State. More of a MiddleEastern version of a Gyro and more. Not a bad tasting Pita or something, but certainly NOT like from back home in Chicago. There it's more Greek style Gyroooooos from Greeks. So much more authentic and flavorful. Pretty decent but very small portions and very pricey indeed. Good taste Just not enough meat's and very overpriced for the portions. Love the decor and the whole place seems cool but sorry not a Gyro King in my book.....more like a King's Royal Jester. They should change name to be more realistic.....Imitación de giroscopio

Falafel Gyro is my go-to and finished off with the Tiramisu. Three times already. The gyro is stuffed with healthy tomatoes, cucumber, onions and parsley in a pita. Falafel also comes in a salad and rice platter but I always stick with the gyro. Yummy.

I always enjoy Gyro King. I always get their combo platter or lamb gyro. Their hummus is really good too! Flavor is always on point and portions are filling. Service is a hit or miss, but the last time I went they were nice and helpful.The restaurant is always nice and clean. I never see too many patrons dining in, but maybe that's because it's usually around dinner time. I'll return for more! One of my go to spots.

This is my weekly stop, the chicken rice platter is so good with all the yummy veggies they put on it. Plus it's big enough for two meals. The sauces they give you are so good. Highly recommend this place.
