Gyro Gyro

I really wanted this to be a great restaurant for Greek food. First it is a veteran-owned restaurant and I always support these establishments. The restaurant is in an older strip shopping center and has adequate parking for the businesses.We arrived around 2:00 pm and there were two customers sitting near the door waiting for to-go orders and one couple seated at a table in the dining area.You place your order at the counter, pay for your meals, and your food is brought out to you. Soft drinks, unless you purchase a bottled drink from the cooler, are self-serve at a Coke-cola dispenser. The dining room has tables and chairs but you have to get paper napkins, salt and pepper and ketchup at a station next to the soft drink dispenser. The dining area is minimally decorated but was clean.We both ordered Gyro plates which include sliced gyro meat, steak fries, a Greek salad and four triangles of pita bread.My fries were a mixture of cool fries that had been sitting in a warming tray combined with fresh cooked Steak fries. The hot fries were very good but the cooler fries were not edible.My serving of sliced gyro meat was fairly sparse but it had good flavor. The Greek Salad was ample and the salad dressing was very good. The pita bread was alright but it was not fresh. The plates are served with a small container of white sauce that is more like a modified Ranch dressing than traditional Tzatziki sauce. It is runny and not thick like traditional sauce served with gyros.Overall a fairly disappointing first try of this Greek restaurant. With so many good Greek restaurants spread throughout metro Atlanta, we won't likely return to this one.

was at AutoZone across the street and saw the sign so happy I did a family own mom and pop restaurant that I will be back The Gyro was excellent fries were crunchy and delicious. Not a big menu but very good at what they do.

Right or wrong, I judge my Greek spots based on the Falafel. I ordered pickup and tried the Gyro Wrap with Fries. My wife tried the Philly Wrap with a side salad. Another member of our party tried the Steak Philly. All three sandwiches were very flavorful and the meat to toppings ratio was spot on. The Philly Wrap could use a bit more meat, but at this point I am being picky. The sandwiches are definitely worth the trip and I would order again, especially for the prices. The side salad was fresh and the fries were just alright. They were seasoned well, but seemed a bit under fried. The Falafel, which you can probably tell by my photo, were all burnt to a crisp. The outsides were hard and the insides were a bit chewy. All that being said, they still had pretty good flavor, so I am hoping that it was a fluke. I am willing to try this place again, if anything, because of the sandwiches.

Ok, today was perfect gyro pita wrap. Able to customize without any onions. Delicious. Meat very tender. Got fries unseasoned. Perfect And enormous portions of sandwich and fries. Got lunch special, so very reasonable priced.Highly recommended. Oh, staffing issues resolved, so now open Monday through Saturday

Really great fresh food. Real dishes and silverware, great service! The gyros are really good.

I usually go here for lunch and there's no line. They have outside seating too if you don't want to sit inside. There's no waiting, but I'm pretty sure after hours it's packed. Because the food is bomb!! my most favorite is the garlic fries and the Gyro combo They give you olive oil on the side which is a plus for me. The service here is good too the guy that's there is always polite. I remember the first time I went and didn't know what to order I asked him and he recommended the same combo I've been getting since I've first step into the place lol! If you're in the area check them out.

This was my first time having a gyro and it was actually good! I got a chicken wrap with fries, drink and an extra sauce. The place seemed clean and the cashier girl was helpful. The service was quick as well, overall I rate this place a 8/10

Was shopping in Dunwoody and decided Gyro was on our minds. CANNOT SAY ENOUGH about this place. The owner started with offering us a sample, made menu suggestions, and never rushed us. The food is so delicious and fresh!! If you haven't tried this gem... What are you waiting for???
