I gotta say, this place is great on so many different levels.First, the owners and employees are all super friendly and accommodating. Nothing but warm welcomes and smiles upon entering.Let's get straight to it though and talk about the food! I had the vindaloo and wow! This curry is fantastic! Lots of flavor and super vibrant red color! One of my favorite parts of Indian food is the variety of colors each meal has and how vibrant they are. So good! I also had the plain naan, which was good quality! The ambiance in the place is very nice although I've only gotten take out the past few times.I think if you're a solo diner, on a date or out with friends, or looking for a place to bring your family, this restaurant will meet all those needs just fine! Also, the location is actually a great spot for take out because it's located between Boulder, Louisville and Lafayette. Makes a nice grab and go for a hot meal when you get home!I highly recommend them!

I just have to say the food is excellent. I ordered the Tandoori Salmon dish and it was delicious. My family and I also ordered the Naan bread and Tikka Masala. The portion sizes are large and taste great. The service here is always exceptional. The waitress is always friendly and kind. I highly recommend this restaurant.... they know exactly what they are doing.

Did you know Gundruk means... pickled leafy vegetable! As the newest Indian and Nepalese restaurant in the Lafayette/Louisville area, it's definitely up-ing the ambiance game. It's a very clean, well-designed space with two rooms and a bar to potentially set in. We sat in the main room, which we found very pleasant. The main waitress was super helpful, cheerful and attentive. As it was our first visit, we leaned into her recommendations. It was much appreciation! We ordered: Fried Momo: 4.5 Stars Chefs Special Goat Curry: 4 StarsBainghan Bharta: 4 StarsGarlic Naan: 4 StarsGoing Back? Absolutely, I can't wait to try more classic dishes like Korma, Tikka Masala, Butter, Saag. We'd probably order the Fried Momo again. We were surprised how much we enjoyed these crispy starters!

Very impressed! We had the lamb vindaloo, and it was delicious! Loved the chunks of sweet potato, and the lamb was perfectly tender. A little spicy at a medium for me, but my husband was pleased. Loved the garlic naan- it was perfectly crispy and heavily seasoned. The curry came with rice, and was perfectly cooked. Our server was very friendly and quick. Loved the feel of the decor- a nice mix of modernity and traditional Indian and Nepalese decor. It was fairly busy with families for a Saturday night.

This place is off the charts good. Cool bar. And the prices are so fair/ this vegetable appetizer was 5 bucks with 2 yummy dipping sauces. Unbelievable medley of flavors.

We went back on Mother's Day & were thrilled to see the restaurant full of customers! Even much much busier, the service was still kind, friendly, & glad to give suggestions when asked. The lights outside in the evening w/ the prayer flags help give the restaurant a great ambience in the evening. We had Tandoori Vegetables, Saag Paneer (spinach w/ an Indian cheese,) and Chicken Korma (a nutty creamy sauce.) We we're also persuaded to try a special- Chicken Chili and got some Naan too. All very tasty! This may be my mom's new favorite place. :)Also, the bathrooms look to be accessible for wheelchairs & walkers.

This is a mostly-Indian restaurant, with a few Nepalese, Chinese, and American options, including a goat curry (I haven't tried this one). Service is attentive and the food is tasty. My favorite so far is the Chicken Tikka Masala; the Coconut Chicken Curry is also very good. Their naan is dry and not greasy, almost more like crackers than bread (I like this too, it's just unusual). The standout dish, though, is the Kheer. It's made with a short-grain rice and has a very creamy and rich texture, something like risotto but sweet.
