Gulf Coast Bread Pudding

Really nice owners, clean pretty space. And so so many flavors of bread pudding! We had a friend in the car, so we did take out. It takes awhile to decide which flavor you want. Then you pick the sauce that will go with the pudding. It's a bit like picking out a wine, but the owners guide you in your selection. It's fun and the pudding is delicious. We got Lemon blueberry with vanilla bean sauce, Sticky toffee with toffee sauce, and Bananas Foster (yes, really!) with rum sauce. We will go back.

Someone posted yesterday about their experience at The Gulf Coast Bread Pudding.....you guys gotta go by this place. It's all they specialize in. Right now they feature 14 different flavors paired with your choice of topping on the side. Very nice and clean quaint cafe to sit down and enjoy a slice of bread pudding or/and take some home. Today we had the pleasure of meeting two of the nicest guys there. Very accommodating and professional. There was no way I would leave with just one slice. I ate 1/2 of the sweet potato bread pudding while there and OMG! So delicious........took 4 flavors home. So I took home a piece of Coconut, whiskey peach, pumpkin croissant, banana, and sweet potato bread pudding. I couldn't decide Of course when I arrived home I sampled each one and still couldn't come up with a favorite. Family owned and operated - they have over 20 flavors , mix and match sauces ....I will not be satisfied until I try them all There is a lounge area and plenty of seating If you prefer to stay a while and enjoy some coffee along with.They also offer party trays of their bread pudding as well - order for your next event! Pricing is very reasonable for such a homemade treat!

I would definitely recommend this establishment for thier creativity and great service! Also, most importantly, the product: bread pudding that they focus on is absolutely delicious and I think it is an absolutely amazing idea given that most people love bread pudding and it's a popular dessert.I love how they have a plethora of flavors: chocolate made with brownies, a coconut lime, a whiskey peach, a pineapple bread pudding and a peach bread pudding, pumpkin and sweet potato. They have more unique flavors, one with raisins. They have a lot of sauces too and some have liquor in it and they are strong and tasty. They use different bases too for the bread pudding: brownies, French bread, croissants, etc. So creative. I hope they are planning on opening more stores in Texas. I think they have ice cream too.I ordered two different bread puddings to try. I ordered the pumpkin with pumpkin and pumpkin spice and Nana's with raisins. I love raisins in bread pudding. Both are fire, delicious. They came with the boozy sauces I chose. I can't wait to try other flavors and I definitely will freeze some and take them to my brother as he loves bread pudding.Great establishment and scrumptious bread pudding.

This gem is amazing the bread pudding was delicious I had the bourbon caramel apple, sweet potato crunch bread pudding and the lemon blueberry bread pudding. I didn't taste the lemon blueberry one because I gave it to my daughter but the other two was the bomb.com. My favorite was the bourbon caramel apple whoa that was goodt goodt. The service was top notch A1 service come to find out she was from Louisiana and that's where I'm from so it was awesome to find this place and then to find out we're from the same state. This establishment is a black owned husband and wife team and the shop itself is beautiful the ambiance is great a nice place to unwind and enjoy dessert with coffee if you choose too. I will definitely be returning to try the other flavors of bread pudding. If you like or love bread pudding I recommend you try this establishment.

PLEASE VISIT THIS PLACE ASAP!!! I've seen this place on Instagram a few times and I'm so glad I finally visited! The inside is really cute and clean. I would definitely come back to study or have a small meeting. The selection of bread pudding and sauces is vast, so you could definitely make each visit special with a different flavor combo. The average price of each slice Is about $5-7. I had the coconut bread pudding with the bourbon caramel sauce.It was so delicious and tasted like a hug in your mouth. It really tastes like your grandma's bread pudding with elevated flavors. Aubrey (one of the owners) was so sweet and patient with me since I was indecisive. His customer service is A1 and a breath of fresh air. I wish you much success in the future as your business grows.Parking: There is plenty of parking in the parking lot.

Omg the best damn bread pudding in Houston! Going again today to get more of their pineapple with Carmel Rum Sauce. So many to try and not enough room in my belly! Just stop and give this amazing place a try. The owners are so nice and service is wonderful!

Visited this Black owned husband and wife restaurant for the first time, located on FM 529/Queenston in Houston. There was a minimal wait following customers in front of me. Barstools with a long counter lined one wall, with cute orange sofas on another wall, and a few tables. It has a roomy clean interior and has been in business for 2 years. The glass enclosed counter display showcases labeled bread pudding samples, cookies, a laminated menu with each variety and sauces to accompany each. An easel next to the sofas advertises the weekly specials. Joined their mailing list which includes monthly specials and a customer loyalty rewards program. I met the owner, Max, and an employee, Aubrey, who were friendly and informative during my visit. Purchased 3 slices: Jameson Whisky Raisin, Vanilla Bean, and Caramel Bourbon Apple with the owner's recommendations for sauces. Each flavor definitely had its own bragging rights. Full pans are available as well to purchase. Prices are reasonable.

Well, the folks running this joint could honestly do a bit better. Very kind and patient but Maybe it was too busy because they were a little behind with items that were sold out and hard to keep up with when it came to sauces on the side. To add, the bread pudding that is sold "to go" is cold / frozen? You have to heat it up yourself at home or i suppose you can get it heated up before you go or if you eat it there. The Flavor was in fact delicious! So i gotta give them that. My favorite flavor is Nanas Traditional! So Good! They have good coffee too! Food was delicious and reminded me of mother's recipe. Service was great & there are many different hardy pieces of bread. I did not stay I got it to go. I will be back soon.
