I'm visiting Texas so you know we had to hit up a BBQ spot. Guillory's was the top recommendation on Yelp so we tried it. It's located in a plaza with other establishments so parking was abundant. There is an initial ordering place and then a separate room to sit down and dine. We ordered to-go, and it was really fast!Walking in, we didn't know what to order so the cashier and another worker helped us decide. We decided on 1/2 pound for 3 meats: brisket, ribs, and sausage. Total was about $40!The brisket was so soft! The black skin threw me for a loop as I've never eaten anything really truly smoked but there was no burnt taste, only soft, tender, juicy brisket. The sausage was my personal favorite, I'd love to throw these in a seafood boil. Sweet and salty, perfect snap texture. The ribs were soft and sweet. It was a little too sweet for me but others in my group liked it.Last of all, the service was the best! The two workers helped recommend what places to hit as my mom was craving gumbo. Super welcoming and kind, please give this place a try!

Mixed feelings on this one. I feel that it this should be advertised as more of a Cajun Bar-B-Que place. We ordered the brisket plate, the 3 ribs plate and the loaded potato with sausage.Person who ordered the brisket plate was happy with the meat part & coleslaw. The dirty rice was not what we are used to.I ordered the 3 ribs plate and instead got a chicken, sausage and 2 ribs plate. They did good and brought me extra ribs. They had a good flavor but did not care for the spicy sauce. The dirty rice was disappointing too.The person that ordered the loaded potato was really disappointed. The loaded potato was not what we are used too. It was more like meat on mashed potatoes and the sausage was spici

The BBQ is great. This is where a lot of locals go for BBQ. The prices are very reasonable.

Protect this business at all costs!!! Family owned and they definitely provide a friendly service. I'm most likely to order a pound of moist sliced beef brisket or a chopped beef sandwich, either way it's H.A.M!I will say I can always tell when Mr. Guillory himself prepares my order vs anyone else. Nothing bad to say but will give notice to the time I know he takes with his craft! Thank you sir! See y'all next week!!!

Texas Monthly did a piece on this hidden gem recently. Saw the article that morning, pulled up that afternoon. The place sits in a old shopping strip and that might discourage anybody. Once you get through that, the magic begins. Anyplace that has ready pagers and a consistent flow of patrons has to be the real deal! The food and the ambiance is a mismatch! The haul:Spicy two link boudin stuffed. (Yeah you read it right!) drink and chips. Sausage with beans and dirty rice. (Also two drinks and two deserts from Mama Mims. More on that later)Understand this. If you would have told me that two boudin links could be split open and stuffed with chopped beef brisket, cheese, chives and sour cream in a baked potato container could work???? I would have called flag on the play. But naaaaaaw! This dish is like one of the greatest things I have ever tasted! The boudin has a great spice level. Might be a bit too much for some, but great for me. The toppings almost made me believe I was eating a baked potato. The combo is a hit! Even the sausage plate was fresh and homemade. Nothing frozen. Made to order. Just how we all like it! Mow Mama Mias is a separate entity from the restaurant, but that peach cobbler and that strawberry cheesecake was fire as well! Basically, sometimes you have to go to the hole in the wall to get some of the best food sometimes. Wort a trip to the S.W.A.T to see the truth!Texas Monthly did a piece on this hidden gem recently. Guillory's BBQ is an all around great restaurant. From the food to customer service, all of my dining expectations were met. The father and son duo that own and operate the restaurant are so personable, kind, and funny. They genuinely cared how our dining experience was going and had great conversation. Now onto the food! The brisket loaded potato gets a 10/10 from me. The brisket is perfectly seasoned and the bbq sauce on it is very tasty. I would never think to combine brisket and a baked potato but I was very impressed with this dish. The ribs, potato salad and beans were all very tasty. The potato salad was phenomenal and the beans had a bit of a kick that I liked. The peach cobbler was served warm and fresh. The lemonade tasted good & natural! They also make everything from scratch so you know it tastes better!

Professional service.Clean service counter and small well lit dining room. I came for the Boudin. Ordered 1 spicy link and 1 stuffed Boudin link. I have tried a few different boudin and boudin preparations over the years but never had a stuffed one before. The gentleman at the store opened up my take out box to show me the stuffed boudin. It was split open he explained and topped with sour cream, cheese, chopped bbq brisket and green onions. I tasted this at home and it was delicious and a big portion for $10.I also had the spicy boudin link. This was a bit bigger than the links I've had in other places. I thought it was a little under seasoned. As I was leaving I saw a sign for homemade links. I was told these are Beaumont links and that they were different from the sausage at other places. I was intrigued by that and I'll have to come back to try it.If you love Boudin gives this a try.

My husband brought us here for lunch during the week. It's located in SWAT inside a small strip center next to a barbershop. The restaurant inside and out was clean, with plenty of seating for dining. There was zydeco music playing which gave a lively atmosphere. We ordered the daily special which included 2 pork ribs, quarter chicken, quarter sliced sausage link, 2 slices of buttered Texas toast and 2 sides. We sat down to eat, the food came out right away. The bbq had a delicious hickory flavor, and toasted with buttered versus plain out the bag was a nice touch!Customer service was excellent. They explained the menu, had patience, asked us how the food was and spoke to us for a bit. The food is definitely your backyard kinda barbecue. Everything was juicy, tender, flavorful and fresh. It's a small family business of a father, son and uncle. They've been in that location for a few years prior to having a food truck. We loved everything about the location from the food to the owners and plan to return. Unfortunately, we ate every bite before taking pictures.
