Guanajuato Mexican Restaurant

Upon entering I could feel a lively vibe, it somehow felt like a home away from home. Something about it just felt like a happy place - people were laughing, music was on point both times we visited, and it was cozy. Service was friendly and kind, and we were offered sides and drinks right after being seated. The chips, queso, and salsa were all nice and warm and hit the spot perfectly. The salsa has enough of a kick that mixing it with the queso was perfect. Both visits, my husband got carne guisada, and I got the cheese enchilada plate. My husband really liked the carne guisada, and I enjoyed my enchiladas too, they were flavorful and satisfying, though I do wish I had added chicken, the cheese could have used a bit of flavor like the queso had. Honestly, this is a cute place with great service and good food. I'd definitely recommend and can see myself going back.

Food is flavorful, service is always phenomenal, the environment is very festive! Always a good time with family!

This place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I've never had a bad dish, I've loved everything here. My favorite dish is the Fajitas Poblanas mixed beef and chicken, oh to die for!

A friend and I go out several times to eat a week!He told me about the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail! They brought it out and talk about really nice and large! Large enough to be a meal unto its self!Almost forgot, really liked the salsa. Comes out warm with great seasoning! Also the pickled carrots and jalapeños!Next I got two meat enchiladas. To my surprise they had two different sauces.I got the chili sauce but asked if I could try the other. It wasn't bad but prefer the chili gravy. I had to get onions and if I had a touch of comino, it would have been great!While i don't rate it 4 stars, I do think it's a solid 3 1/2. I wish Yelp allowed 1/2 stars!I would go back just for the cocktail!

Did takeout and our 2 Margaritas and dinners were excellent. Based on the number of patrons this is the go-to Mexican restaurant in town . I passed two other establishments driving here and both were near empty.

Our favorite Saturday night place. Love their service. So attentive. Great food. Great drinks. Margarita and Paloma are awesome. Great prices. One of my favorite meals is the chicken fajita taco salad. So much food!!
