Guadalajara Mexican Grille

The waitress was so kind and attentive! I was so indecisive and she picked the soup and drink for me which were both delicious with no crumbs left behind! I love their little twist on traditional Mexican. They did a great job.

We came here as a group and they accommodated us in a private room. The food was very good and fresh. We had enchiladas, rice and beans. The service is very good and the food is decent to good quality. The margaritas were ok.

Oh cha-cha-cha this place will have you doing your happy dance if you love delicious Tex-Mex, yeah sure we all like to believe we only love those authentic Mexico flavors from south of the border and I will admit I love them too maybe this and that equally but you probably won't find that here but what you will find is a great restaurant with exceptional service and food that will be amazing.I was looking to find something that would be delicious and memorable, well after walking through these doors and greeted by a wonderful and friendly staff it was only the beginning of an excellent dining experience. The Dos Equis lager drafts are ice cold and served in a salt rim glass with a fresh lime and quenches the Texas sun after a few sips, the complimentary chips and salsa are the perfect pairing, the chips are fresh thin and salty, the salsa is a complex blend of flavors and bottomless (so delicious).Juan our server was the epitome of efficiency, he was attentive and provided exceptional service and completely understands the art of customer service so if you're fortunate enough to land in his section be sure and take care of him like he takes care of your table.The food here is pretty special we ordered a variety of entrées and no one in our party was disappointed with the quality or quantity of food presented, from the giant burritos, beef fajitas, enchiladas, tamales and beef tacos with sides of rice and charro beam and all the condiments there was so much and it was so good. I can't say I was surprised but I was impressed. With all the Mexican dining options in the city this is one great choice I'd definitely do this one again...

I love Guadalajara. I eat at another location for lunch and order catering for work meetings regularly. But, I had not been for Happy Hour before this. I was pleasantly surprised by the Happy Hour options.The service was not the best. I don't know why they had the bartender as the person servicing the bar AND the tables in the bar area. The supporting staff in the bar area who filled water/chips and salsa/and brought the food to the table were great. But, the bartender was responsible for taking our actual orders and I think he was too busy. I will say that the beverages were hit or miss simply because we had 2 different bartenders while we were there. I was definitely alerted to the bartender change simply by the quality of my margarita. While our original (male) bartender was too busy to check on whether or not we needed to order. He made a great margarita. Our second (female) bartender used way too much sour mix in the margaritas.On to the food. I wish I had taken a photo of the Happy Hour food options because I can not find the empanadas that Inhad anywhere. They were SO GOOD. They were picadillo type empanadas. 4 small-to-medium empanadas for around $8. I highly suggest them.

Visited last minute late in the evening and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered a tall Modello, ceviche and guacamole with chips. The ceviche was incredible and tasted tangy and fresh. The friendly bartender was nice enough to order a small order of freshly prepared guacamole for me. I don't often visit this part of Houston but if I do I will be sure to visit again.

We wanted to try a new place and had seen this place conveniently located off 59 and Kirby. The place is huge from the inside and very nicely put together. We were quickly greeted by our server after getting a table. She was friendly and brought chips and salsa almost immediately. We ordered their beef fajitas, which didn't take that long either. The food was good, nothing great. The meat was done just the way we wanted it but it lacked some flavor. I don't think I would come back here.

Food was average, service Thursday night was lacking. We almost just got up and left bc no one came to the table once we were seated. Nice place but nothing stood out as good, service stood out as less than average.

You should try it. The pork plate I had was flavourful and the atmosphere very nice. Waiter was helpful in picking my meal

Never got a refill on my chips and salsa. I just hate that. Water refilled only when I asked for the check. Also hate that. Food (fajitas) brought out slow and tasted very average. Admittedly it's been a while since I ordered fajitas at a Mexican restaurant. But since when did they start serving melted butter? Omg. I did like that part. Not gonna lie. Where have you been all my life my little buttercup. I never got this as a kid. FYI - Queso is of the white variety. Looked like a lot of lunch goers from work frequent this place.

Guadalajara never disappoint. This is our Nth time coming here, and you can always count on a happy experience here. Chips are crispy and fresh, salsa is flavorful, not too oniony or spicy, I could eat it with spoon. Fajita and warm tortilla is as good as it can be. Grilled tilapia is light, healthy and filling, combined with freshly grilled vegetables. Parking is easy. They have kids menu, crayons for the kids. Service is fast and attentive even on a Saturday night. Price here is one of the most reasonable Tex-Mex restaurants after COVID, yet the service and food quality remained the same level of excellence.
