Gringo's Mexican Kitchen

We still go out of our way to go to Gringos (since we are inner loppers and the closest one is 18mins away) Food is always consistent but service has been going down hill at this location for the past several visits. So much tho, we started frequenting the 45 South location, even though it's more of a drive but it's better service. This last visit, it took almost 15 mins to even get our CCQ order AND THEN another 5 mins for our salsa & chips ‍ Thankfully the next bartender that came on shift was more attentive but still not the norm service that we expect. It's less and less frequent we come here mainly due to service vs. drive/ convenience.

Curbside PickupToday I placed an order (Monty-Ray Chicken) for curbside pickup. The chicken was spongy, rubbery & not edible. I did call the restaurant & report this to the manager & I was asked to return the food so that the problem could be corrected. I am a senior with limited mobility and I really did not feel like getting back in my car and driving back to Gringos. I don't want to return food, only to have it replaced with another order . Guess I'm not very trusting.

Always good food here. And Bryan was attentive, helpful and gave great service!Tried the Whisky 'Rita and 5 sips in I was feeling it. I cheated on the Marisco bowl with chicken, for the fajita bowl with chicken and I want that old thing back...The fajita bowl wasn't bad but if you love seafood like me you will appreciate the crawfish tail and juicy shrimp in the Marisco bowl. Also the fajita bowl was supposed to be smothered in queso when it was actually just sprinkled. Probably didn't need it anyway. The Marisco bowl is always smothered in white wine sauce which is was tonight as well because my companion got it‍. In a quest to try something new, it wasn't a fail. I just prefer the Marisco bowl. From here on out.

The food was good it was hot the rice was great the margarita could have used more alcohol the service was good

Their ground beef burrito is spot-on! Balance that with seasoned rice and refried beans, you got yourself a winner winner burrito dinner.We ordered to-go so that we can eat at the comfort of our own home. Much easier to do than eating out when you have a toddler that wants to run around! The food comes nicely compartmentalized in a TV dinner style tray.The chicken burrito is too salty for me, but the ground beef burrito is perfect. The rice and beans are seasoned well. I have nothing but good things to say about the ground beef burrito!There were some hiccups in our order, but they were quick to resolve the issues. Thanks!

Listen! This place is one of our go too places. Love this Tex Mex Magic going on here. The food is always fresh and drinks never disappoint. Anthony has been our server more than once and when I tell you he is amazing and always makes sure we want for nothing so if in the Stafford location check him out. For lunch I had the seafood enchiladas this is one of my favs the shrimp and crawfish taste so fresh and when you add the cheese its a bite of heaven. My husband had the marisco bowl combo so you get steak and chicken both seasoned great and very tender and don't forget that cheese's sauce all that in one bowl is a party in your mouth it's delicious!I' If your looking for a local Tex Mex place this is it great food, drinks and friendly atmosphere check them out! Did I mention they take military discount! Oh and always Don't forget the wine!

If I don't give stars for anything else, my reason for five stars was my waiter! His name is JOSH! He was excellent! We were seated in a timely manner. And Joshua was at my table in less than three minutes! He was very attentive, and he was very informative about the drinks. I'm super big on customer service and his customer service skills were phenomenal! Oh Yeah...the food was DEEEELICIOUS! If you're ever in the area, you should stop by! The atmosphere was very friendly, and it was an extremely good vibe!

This spot was unexpectedly very good! My Aunt and Uncle recommended this spot. I got the shrimp fajitas. Whatever butter they serve with it is delicious. I absolutely loved it!! I washed it down with a Jameson and ginger ale. Also the green cream salsa was also another favorite. I absolutely loved that as well. I also love that have free soft serve in your way out. I was too full to partake in that but I will next time I'm in town and visit. Service was great I can't complain and loved the ambiance.
