Great Harvest Bread

Quality fresh ground wheat baked just right. No chemicals or food-like substances here. Just real bread for real humans. An oasis amidst the suburban deserts here.

I love the scones and tea cakes from GHB. Plus they are always willing to share a sample of everything they are baking. Very friendly and helpful staff. It smells great when you enter - very "down homey".

This bread can be eaten without butter! I am not one for writing reviews because I am selfish and I like to keep all the good things for myself, but I feel I must share this. I don't know what kind of magic these witches are brewing, but this bakery has me in its spell. The bread: the chewiness the smell, the friendly, friendly people but most of all the taste. When was the last time you thought bread really tasted good? I am talking without butter and peanut butter and all the other hiders of bread flavor? I'm not kidding. I am eating a piece right now with nothing on it. Do they use real butter in their cookies and pastries, you ask? Well I don't know I've never asked them... because I have never needed to! Real butter in a cookie is a must and usually the reason why I don't buy cookies out in the world, but this bakery's cookies are good as mine!No the bakery did not pay me to take the time out to write this review. I do it because I am grateful for the warm bread in a paper bag and their friendly service. Thank you witchy Goddesses of the Dough for being there for me

Farmhouse cinnamon swirl and cinnamon rolls are delicious. Don't forget cream cheese frosting.

I love the options. The farmhouse cinnamon swirl loaf is my favorite! The service is fantastic and always friendly. The samples they have are always generous and give you a way to try new things without purchasing big portions. What a great place. If you haven't been, go!!

This place is amazing. My best friend's mother brought a loaf of delicious, jelly twist bread (unsure of what it was), to my parent's cookout - this was to die for. My dad and I were just amazed at how fresh, flavorful, and delicious this was. I had to check the store out myself. Upon walking in, you are smacked in the face with all sorts of yummy smells. It is incredible. I bought a cinnamon twist loaf & a pepperoni pizza loaf. The pepperoni pizza loaf was amazing!!! The reason I gave this four stars, is because I went to eat the cinnamon twist bread I bought LESS than 3 days later and it was hard, and not even edible. Was pretty disappointed. Granted, everything else has been great so I will give it another shot possibly. The prices are a bit high, but it is a specialty bread company so it is not surprising. Plus, it is not everyday that I will be going to this place, so it is a nice treat!

Simply delicious...Raspberry scones, Everything bread and Cinnamon buns, Oh My! Always fresh...sometimes right out of the oven fresh! I always buy a few extras and give them to friends and family...They always rave about how delicious and fresh! Don't miss out

My last visit here was today. After the never friendly reception, I was stunned when an unhappy looking employee knocked a $7 sunflower loaf off the metal rack, then picked it up and replaced it on the rack. If this is done in front of a customer, I can't imagine what they are willing to overlook when no one is watching.I won't be back.

I searched everywhere for Irish soda bread for st.patrick's day. A worker at a grocery store told me about great harvest bakery. He told me it was a little pricey but it's because everything is freshly made. I drove 25 minutes to pick up my bread. The lady at great Harvest was nice and saved me one. Luckily, because they sold out! While there my daughter picked out a muffin, I got a cinnamon roll and found a pizza bread thing. I am pretty cheap on most things so it almost hurt me to pay so much for the bread. Ha. But honestly, it was well worth it! The soda bread was the best soda bread I have ever had and the pizza roll thing is amazing!!! My daughter even ate 3 slices of it. I wasn't a fan on the icing on the cinnamon roll but my husband ate it and said he liked it. I can't wait to go back and get more pizza bread!! So delicious!!
