Great Awakenings Cafe

Found this little place while visiting an in-law, and I can't wait to come back! It was a very homey vibe...cute & comfy. There were two employees behind the counter (one appeared to be new, but awesome) who were HUSTLING to manage the rush that arrived just after my husband and I ordered. They remained patient, communicative, efficient and avoided cross contamination, which means a lot to me. I watched them consistently change gloves between handling different orders, even while preparing 8 different tickets. That alone was enough to sell me on this place.Now, our orders... I had the avocado toast with egg & tomato. It wasn't the best, but it was reasonably priced, and well prepared. My husband had the cinnamon bun waffles... he's a sweets lover, and he was very happy that the waffle wasn't overly crispy. The icing on top was the perfect touch. He also had an iced matcha latte, which was (surprisingly) blended. He loved it! If it wasn't for the rush of customers, he would've gotten another one to take home. I had an iced dirty chai latte--it was the perfect mix of spiced chai and bold coffee. Maybe one of the best that I've tasted.

I've gone to this place a couple of times now and enjoy it. The first time I went, I stayed awhile and enjoyed the atmosphere. They've got some cute places to sit and enjoy whatever you get- ice cream, pastries, sandwiches, or a variety of coffee and teas. The first time I went I got a matcha latte, which I thought about for days after having it. I went back for one, but they were out of matcha that day so I had a mocha, which was also delicious. I've had a croissant and for my hubby a pastry that was cherry once, apple another time. We enjoyed all of them. The people who work here are kind and helpful. No one's been rude to me here

Everything look so nice and well renovated. Service was great and comforting beings though I did-not know what to order so the cashier helped me a-lot. I did not try the food yet but the latte I ordered was good.

This is a beautiful shop and the service is amazing. My latte was amazing. This is one place I will save on my favorites.

A great addition to this neighborhood! The staff is very welcoming, super modern and classic coffee shop with great coffee at a great price. I would recommend to anyone. Can't wait to make this my new go to!

Friendly service, cute interior and one of the best vanilla lattes I've had in a long time. Will be back !

This cafe is a delightful hidden gem. The inside is spacious and inviting. The lady taking the order was very nice and helpful with suggestions. My friend and I ordered matchas, the cinnamon bun waffles, a cinnamon roll, the cinnamon crunch muffin, and the egg & bacon croissant. Matchas, cinnamon roll, and muffin were a 10/10. The croissant sandwich was a 7/10. They added cheese when I requested no cheese and the sandwich was nothing better than what I could make at home. The three stars are because we waited over 20 minutes before we were served our drinks and an additional 25 minutes before we got the food items.All in all, I will return, but do not go if you have anywhere to be.

got my food from uber eats; the avocado toast was amazing! the matcha latte was absolutely divine. i'll have to stop by in person to get a full feel for the service, ambiance, etc. but their food is great ;)

Hidden gem in this area. My new go to coffee stop. Very cozy and modern inside. The staff is very chill and friendly
