Steak tips and service is great can't complain the location is easy to get to and after go shopping in the areaEasy access to the highways and Cocktails are whatever you decided and refreshing and tasty.Or just go for the cocktails!!

This is what I called old school no nonsense. Good food with good prices! They do not overcharge here, and the place is always packed because of the popularity. We were able to get seated at the bar and the service was very friendly and to the point and I certainly enjoyed my steak tips. They give a lot of food. I also enjoyed my side of rice pilaf, which is quite famous there, and the Avalanche ice cream was delicious with caramel...so good! The ambience is comfort casual but you're most likely see people in their 60s here... that's good since then know what's good and deals! By the way, they give the coolest bread which is like a giant pretzel!

Never disappoints! This time I had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection (medium rare). A side of baked potato, butter and sour cream completed the deliciousness. This is a great place when you want a variety of choices and a friendly, laid back atmosphere. The wait staff are fantastic, friendly and never rushing you.

Food is mid, nothing is seasoned, setting is powerfully evocative of 1970's diner that thinks it's fancy eating, and again, for the third time, since they keep taking my reviews down, the bartender staff use racist language when speaking with the public, and I have seen it first hand.

A staple in Waltham. Been coming here for years and there hasn't been a meal I didn't like. Service is always fast too.I always start with either the zucchini sticks or spinach and artichoke dip for my appetizer. Plus their loaf of bread!! My go to entrees are either the chicken breast teriyaki with the rice pilaf or the teriyaki steak tips! These are their staples in my opinion. Their panko crusted chicken is also great as well as their crabmeat pie...yum. Their menu is classic and there's something everyone will love--burgers, steak, chicken, fish, salads! Topped off with a romantic ambiance that makes it a good date spot or just a night out with the family.This restaurant owns other places nearby too with similar menus. Try their other locations too -- Jimmy's in Arlington, Grassfields in Andover, Jimmy's in Saugus. Marios Italian Restaurant in Lexington is also part of this same family.

Food was good, the menu is a little out dated But check your account if you use a card. Our waitress gave herself a 54 dollar tip on a 45 dollar till !!!

I was here on a Tuesday afternoon with a party of 14 people, following a family funeral. The wait staff were great and handled us with accuracy and professionalism. The food from the lunch menu was reasonable priced and was excellent. Some of us had broiled scallops, lobster roll, various burgers and appetizers. Everyone was pleased with their meal. As an out-of-towner trying to find the right place that could please everyone, this place did not disappoint. My only complaint was that the pre-calculated tip was based on the total, including taxes. The tip should have been based on the pre-tax total. I didn't notice this until after we'd left the place. However, it was just a $5 difference and the wait-staff did such a good job that I can't begrudge them the extra $.

Grassfields Waltham is just ok. I had a Ceasar with a piece of salmon and neither had much taste. My parents enjoyed their fish and chips and my wife was happy with her chicken sanwhich. We were seated in a booth that was not designed for 4 people! I had to hang my legs out in the aisle the entire meal.One thing that irked me was the club soda with a splash of cranberry that I ordered. I guess they call it a "cranberry sparkler" and this fancy name allows them to charge more for it then Pepsi or iced tea! Believe me, it's not the additional .30 or .40 cents, its the principle!

The worst thing is to get your order and find that something was left out or cooked wrong. Grassfield's is a favorite for my parents. However, my opinion is that the prices went UP and the quality of the food and service WAY DOWN!Today, my mother wanted to order from there for lunch. We ordered and I asked for BROILED Sea Scallops!!! It doesn't even sounds like FRIED! I repeated it again! BROILED!!! sure enough I got FRIED scallops which my mother cannot eat. I called and asked for the manager. I was definitely not happy to find out the manager was the same person who took the order.NEVER AGAIN!!!! What a true waste of money!!!
