Usually I'm wary about places with so much hype, but Grandma's Philly really deserves it! My friends and I had a wonderful time here. The restaurant is super cute, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious. For appetizers, we ordered grandmas meatballs and the curry puffs. We appreciated how each had such a unique flavor. For entrees, we did a family style assortment of pad si ew, crispy pork belly, spicy basil stir fry and the spicy garlic eggplant. My favorite had to be their pad si ew which was super flavorful with noodles that had amazing texture. My only complaint would be that we couldn't adjust the sweetness of the Thai tea, and it did taste too sweet for me. You get to pick the spice level between 1-5 and 2 was honestly quite spicy for my group! Overall, loved this place and would highly recommend it!

A good, casual date night spot. We got the curry puffs and grandma's meatball appetizers and they were both my favorite things that we ordered. The dipping sauces they both came with were great and flavorful. For sharing plates we ordered the Kad Prao Chicken and Khao Soi curry noodles. I thought the Kad Prao was just ok. The Khao Soi curry noodles started off strong until the crispy wonton strips soaked in the curry sauce and became mushy, blending in with the noodles and making the dish feel heavier. Otherwise, tasted great

My brother was home from overseas. He wanted to have some Thai food before heading back to Amsterdam. I was nervous picking out a place since he had spent 5+ years in Thailand. After hearing some good things about Grandma's, we came here. If you don't read this full review, read this - my brother, a Thailand resident for many years, completely satisfied his Thai food craving a Grandma's. The food was simply phenomenal and authentic. The service was prompt and quick. Our waiter was able to confidently answer my brother's questions about certain menu options, including that the Thai basil dish was indeed made with real Thai basil. The restaurant was quaint and pleasant to dine in. With an expansive menu and tons of options, if you're looking for real delicious, authentic Thai food, Grandma's should be your first stop in Philly! Looking forward to coming back here again.

Everything we ordered was delicious and full of flavor! You can customize the spice level to be mild in nearly all the dishes. The restaurant is on the smaller side but very cozy and inviting. Our server was fantastic! He even offered to speak to my parents in a different language when he noticed they didn't speak English.

This place is crowded!! Food is absolutely flavorful. This place is really efficient. The green curry is absolutely amazing. I wish they gave a little bit more rice. The veggie rolls were nice and crisp and fresh and the drunken noodles were a bit too saucy- almost like a tomato paste, but it was delicious

Ahh this place was fantastic! Was in town for a conference and decided to come here for dinner. I was not disappointed!Ambiance - 9/10. Gorgeous interior that is perfect for a date or a group of friends! They have sofa area which I sat at and it was very comfortable. The waiters are all dressed very well and attentive to everyone sitting downFood & Drinks:10/10! Got the drunken noodles and I was extremely happy with it! Had a nice flavor and a good amount of spice! Added chicken to mine and don't regret it! As a cocktail I got the Lychee Grandma and it was delicious! Sweet enough to drink with the noodles and left great lingering flavor after every sip! Could have easily gotten 1-2 more hands down!Price: I think I payed somewhere between $35-40 all included. But it was worth it!Overall: Will definitely come back here! Would recommend trying it out even if it's just for cocktails because they are good!

My friend was raving about this place, so we came here for dinner. We ordered a couple drinks (mango and lychee drinks) to start us off, and they were pretty strong. They come with house vodka, but you can pay more for Tito's or another vodka. For food, we ordered drunken noodles, the curry noodles, and the dumplings. The dumplings were a bit dry, and had much more meat to them than I thought - they're more like fried meatballs than dumplings. The drunken noodles didn't really taste like your normal drunken noodles, and the staff also forgot about this dish until we had to remind them - they then brought it out with shrimp, which I hadn't ordered. The curry noodles were probably the best from this restaurant. My friend mentioned they weren't usually like this, so I think I just came on an off night unfortunately.
