I had really high hopes for this place, but I was underwhelmed. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa and the beef, chicharrones were good the rice was hard! The piece of sausage was completely dry and had an bad aftertaste. The empanada was very good.

This is my third time here and I must say I am very biased on my Colombian food because that's were my family is from and I've had some amazing home cooked meals that just can't compare. I will say that anyone that I have brought with me has loved this place and begins a love affair with Colombia food. They have amazing juices. Their empanadas I will admit are some of the best I've had.

This restaurant is in the location where Saizon Latino and other Cuban places have given it a try. I stopped in to check out the new tenant and see what Colombian cuisine has to offer. I got the Salteado Mixto from the Specialties menu, and chased it with one of their Natural Juices--blackberry for me.Salteado Mixto is a saute of round steak, popcorn shrimp and chicken. The proteins are cooked in a hearty, savory, mildly tomato-based sauce with lots of onions and peppers. It is served with a sticky white rice that has some flavor on its own but is of course best in the dish--I just shoveled it all in there, it could be served that way. The proteins were definitely fully done but ate just fine in that sauce. It's a very generous portion, plenty for a lunch the next day and it tasted even better. The dish comes with a mashed fried plantain cake on the side. I'm generally not excited by fried plantain and no change this time. But the entree was very good overall. The natural juices are a kind of fruit smoothie. They offered water or milk as a base and I chose water, but I think I'd do milk next time. A nice refreshing complement to the meal. They have lots of other tempting traditional drinks that I would try in the future. The menu is extensive. There are lots of choices in the appetizer section that could be meals on their own or assembled into one for a lot of variety. They have breakfast all day (open at 8) and it looks great. Also Monday-Friday lunch specials that are under $10 on the menu. And a full bar!I regret not being able to sample the bakery or desserts--just ran out of time. The desserts are not on the in-restaurant menu but they have items on display on the bar so there are choices. The restaurant is definitely geared toward Spanish speakers--my server didn't speak English. I know a few words and with pantomime and some help from the bartender we did just fine. The bathrooms were clean and ready. Like other iterations in this location, the restaurant has kept most of the decor from the previous places. They did get rid of the thatch over the bar. They take advantage of the stage for live music on the weekends. Service is paced for a relaxing dinner, so don't hurry like I ended up doing.I can't quite round it up to a 5 but I'm happy to recommend it, and my understanding from Colombian acquaintances is that it's the real deal.

Not sure why this place has so many stars, a Colombian restaurant that manages to ruin an empanada, patacones and a bandeja paisa, is not a good Colombian place, Patacones as hard as a stone, empanadas the heat was rare, took them back, brought them back and still rare, soup with no flavor! Will not recommend nor I will ever go to this place again

This place was delicious!! We came for lunch for a friend's birthday and the service was great! We were greeted right away and served very quickly. The restaurant itself was very clean and colorful.I tried the Empanadas (I ordered the chicken one) first, which were DELICIOUS. My friend and I ordered the Bandeja Paisa to split. This was my second time having Colombian food, so this was a great dish for me to try a lot of different things. The meat was all cooked really well and the plantains were so tasty. I will definitely have to go back and try more dishes.

Ever heard of try-curious? Well that's me when it comes to new restaurants that I haven't tried -- that have almost no pictures on Yelp. I've driven by this place wondering what the food looks like - how it tastes - etc. So - I had to give it a try for research purposes. As soon as I entered, I was greeted. I took a seat then dove into the menu. I will admit, I wasn't incredibly hungry, but I still wanted to order a few things to sample the variety.I started out with two appetizers. The salchipapas and an empanada. Both of them were good and they came out quick. For my entree I ordered the chuletas. Let me set the stage here. When the chuletas arrived, I smiled to myself. They looked really good and they came accompanied with rice, beans, and a plantain. I grabbed my fork and knife and jumped in. The chuletas had some great flavor, but they were a little difficult to cut with the supplied butter knife. I was cutting so hard that the table started shaking - hitting against the wall. It slightly embarrassed me because it sounded like my neighbors' headboard banging against the wall if you know what I mean. Regardless, when I took the bite - it was so worth it. It was rich in flavor and temperature hot. So...I started shaking the table again. The wait staff did not speak English but I don't feel like that got in the way. They were very attentive and extremely nice. The prices were also very reasonable. The only thing I would change is I would add a steak knife for folks that need to cut the chuleta. I would love to go back and try more things on the menu!

We had a great dinner here! It was the first time my kids have tried authentic Colombian food, and they really enjoyed it! We tried: Pandebono (Colombian Cheese bread. It was AMAZING!!), Empanadas (we loved the chicken one), Chicarron (pork belly that was so crispy and wonderful), Platano maduro con queso (sweet plantains with cheese. Yum!), Arepa/Arepa con queso (corn cakes), Carne Asada (grilled meat), my husband had a Bandeja Paisa, and my kids loved their cheeseburgers and fries, too! We also got some traditional Colombian soda's and hot chocolate. Everything was awesome, and very authentic. Super nice service, and very fair prices! Please come support this local gem!
