Golden Place Chinese Restaurant

Best Chinese takeout anywhere nearby. I live in Lansdowne, but drive over to Alden for this place, way better than anything in Drexel Hill, Lansdowne Clifton Heights, etc. It's good and hot and Cheap. never have they got the order wrong, they speak perfectly clearly on the phone and repeat the order back.I always pay cash to use the (verbal) coupon of free egg rolls. Never disappoints. Except when I try to go on Monday and they are closed. They deserve the day off, I will survive.

Food's was ok nothing really to brag about. It took Kind've long for my food. Probably was a busy day.

Well since it's now up to me to review this place being that I'm the most recent as of now to, it's all praises and good looks coming from this end. It's clean and you are greeted by a friendly and helpful young lady at the register. So to start we all know that's definitely a plus. Pretty affordable and the portion of food your getting shows just that. They do have lunch specials or combos during lunch time. They have your typical selection of traditional Chinese takeout so your favorites keep in mind. For me I was in the mood for Barbecued boneless spare ribs, two shrimp rolls and shrimp fried rice all for the price of like $11.75 or a little more. Still worked out for me.Not only was my meal appetizing and good, it also feel me up quick. Sauce was just right, all the food was still piping hot when I got in, and made me wanna come back. Anybody near the county and you want clean, good quality Chinese come here. Next time I'm riding through and want General Tso or orange chicken, I'm stopping pass.

This is a great Chinese take out place in delco. After moving from Center city, where the only good Chinese food you'll find is in Chinatown (the places that do delivery are not great) this was a nice find. The general Tsos chicken is perfectly crispy, the wonton soup is salty and flavorful, the dumplings are steamed nicely, they give you a hefty portion of lo mein, and the curry rice is tasty with a little kick to it. I would definitely order from here again.

I will no longer buy there, never again. I ordered sweet and sour pork and only got the sauce. Called them back to find out why I didn't get the pork, and she said that someone must have took the order wrong. She said I would have to pay extra for the pork. Food has gotten horrible there. Stay away!!!!

This place reminds you of Chinatown in downtown Philly. The food is in my opinion the best Chinese food in the area. The prices are good and the place is very clean. Give it a try!

When I visit family in Pennsylvania, I often try to eat at this restaurant. The food is fresh, hot and very good. I'm never disappointed. The older woman working there is VERY nice, but the younger woman is very short when speaking to you and rude. The house special rice, wonton soup, chicken wings, and ribs are all good. I went to this place today and the service was excellent because the younger lady was not working. I was told by the younger lady on a previous occasion of ordering food for dinner that I could not eat the dinner that I ordered there inside the restaurant. Why would a restaurant have tables and chairs and not allow you to eat your food there in the restaurant???? She was also rude in the way she said I could not eat there. Anyway, I am happy that this younger lady was not there when I ate there today.

Since moving to PA I have had a real issue with ordering Chinese.. This place is passable and quick. Their crab rangoons are delish! I am always surprised that Chinese restaurants here do not serve chicken fingers though... The well prepared rice and chow mein made up for it though!

Food is delicious, neat, and service is fast!!, I usually work in this area and I love Chinese Food, I truly recommend this place, They're only serving take out this time.

I've been coming here for 4-5 years. On Monday, I ordered a qt. of shrimp and broccoli and a pt. shrimp fried rice. I won't be ordering from here again, my stomach has been extremely upset.
