While I might not take coffee or tea too seriously, I always appreciate it when a place like Golden Hour does. Located all the way up north in Magnolia, it has gained traction over the last year for being a top coffee shop in the neighborhood. Whether one is a novice (#1) in the coffee game or a true connoisseur, this place is a quality destination that caters to both. The aroma of the coffee beans grounding is a great smell to walk into. There are a handful of seats and a lot of outdoor seating. I really appreciate the super nice and clean bathrooms and love the world coffee map. The WiFi is great and there's plenty of parking. The first time I came here I had a killer matcha latte. The latte art was on point and the flavors were nice and potent. I've since tried their signature drink, the Golden Hour, which was a nice pick-me-up and what seems to be their most pricey drink at $7. The cold brew is strong, but surprisingly refreshing and their chai is a good coffee alternative.I think what I really appreciate is that their staff is so knowledgeable with coffee. They nerd out hard over coffee drinks, whether it's single origin or internationally derived, and love to share their findings with customers who are willing to listen. This area is still developing and I do hope that they remain a big part of the neighborhood in the coming years.____________(#1) Noob alert, that's me.

I was in the Woodlands for a birthday party and was in some definite need for coffee goodness. Lets just say, it was the gold hour, and, oh man! The Gold Hour Coffee & Tea did not disappoint. We pulled up this this quaint shop, that had ample parking, was spacious on the inside, and even offered lots of little areas for those Instagram folks that are keen on pictures. There were people indoors studying, and working. Seemed like a good place for this. We were only there to quickly grab some caffeine and skedaddle. The barista was incredible kind, helpful, and made our coffees in a good amount of time. We ordered three iced coffees. The seasonal Banana Cream Latte, The Golden Hour, and a Strawberry Matcha Latte. Woah! We had to sit down after that goodness hit our throats. Absolutely delicious coffee! All smooth, delicious, and just the thing we needed. Whenever I'm in the Woodlands, I'll make sure that its the golden hour. Great stuff!

I love this place! It's become a part of my weekly routine. I stop in twice a week for solid coffee (you really can't go wrong- their drip coffee is wonderful especially if you're a medium roast fan, their mixed drinks are great, and their specialty and seasonal beverages are addicting. Bring back the strawberry foam cold brew!) and either a bagel or some other treat (I'd recommend the chocolate braid) and always leave happy. They have good wifi too so if you're looking for a place to work remotely for a bit, this is definitely the place to be.

It's been a minute since I've had the pleasure of visiting this standout, but in revisiting I was excited to find that they are just as much a treat as when they began! Everyone wants something different from their local Java slinger. For me, it's reliable WiFi, atleast a few outlets, quality coffee, ample natural light, and good customer service. That being said, this particular shop offers each and every one of those! A matter of fact, although a diamond dozen in Houston, this is one of the only coffee shops in the area for the coffee purist, coffee enthusiasts, and recreational coffee drinkers alike. From a large variety of pour over options to quality milk varieties to good customer service, their new bakery is just the cherry on top! I'll be back to try more of the bakery goods.

Fantastic selection of baked good to go with a nice White Coffee and comfortable, relaxing, dog friendly venue. Huge interior could use more comfortable furnishings, but I was pleased to occupy the only couch with cushions. Service seemed a tad sleepy, but proficient enough to deliver a scone and great cup of Joe.

This review is solely to critique the employee that works here not the business itself. This is the first time I've been here and it'll be the last. Showed up 20 mins before closing and the black-haired guy working there claimed they were out of all sorts of stuff (because they didn't want to make it) and had this bad energy about him and rushed the order. Got something super simple and it wasn't even good.

So hard to find a decent coffee shop these days and this one misses this mark. What I do like is their variety of baked goods and seating arrangements. They've got a patio which is often much quieter than the inside. The drinks are already priced high and if you don't tip for a coffee, I wouldn't come here bc I just get mean mugged and served 'to go' cups when I've order 'for here'. What's the point of asking me if you're going to not going to give me a glass like everyone else? I think the staff is highly reliant on tips for making a coffee. They don't even shake up/mix the drinks for me anymore. Probably spit in there too. You win, I'll stop coming lol.

My favorite coffee shop in the area!I've had- The Golden Hour coffee (sweet, nice kick of turmeric, comes hot or iced)- Matcha latte (very strong, not too sweet, high quality matcha)- Chai latte- Various seasonal drinksThe size of the drinks is pretty good and makes up for the price range. The quality of the drinks is consistent. There's lots of seating. It is cozy, relatively quiet. It has good natural lighting, outlets, and free WiFi. Great place to study - I always see a couple people working here. Also a great place to have meetings/conversations. The baristas are friendly, and drinks come out quickly. The music is typically an indie mix.
