I've been here so many times I'm nearly a regular haha. Quality, service, and food are all awesome! Can't go wrong with a tender basket with fries, a roll, and a family size gravy to dip! Get the spicy powder seasoning and throw a bit into the gravy and you got the ultimate sauce for your tenders or like me just drink it with a straw haha. The fries are battered and then fried which I love! Gives them an extra layer of crispy ness while the inside is tender. The chicken itself was crunchy and juicy! I get the mild since I put the spicy powder to dip into the gravy! Can't wait to come back!

Hands down, best fast-food chicken EVER! Every time I come in here to have some good chicken, they are always consistent. Their Roasted chicken is always juicy and the Tenders are well battered with Spicy seasoning. Their Sweet tea is a must when I come in to take out. And yes their small "sonic ice" just adds the cherry on top.As far as sides, ALL sides are delicious. The fries, fried Okra, mac n cheese, or even their salad are always good. The rolls are fresh and warm, sometimes I will order an extra to-go.To sweeten the visit, I randomly take advantage of their free Ice cream.Service is always great! Never have I came in here and had a bad experience. The lady from the cash register already knows me that she already knows my favorite meals. You seriously need to come here and try their chicken!

Usually, this place is my go-to fast food restaurant because of how delicious the food is and how fast they provide your meal with good service, but today was the exact opposite. I don't know if it's because of the whole pandemic going on, but I have never waited in a drive thru for 45 minutes especially when there wasn't that many cars in front of me. When I finally got to the ordering station, I had to wait for them to be ready. When I pulled up to the window, I had to wait even more because the system was "shut down." And they didn't even get my order correctly, almost giving me someone else's order. After an hour home, I was just ready to eat, but I realized they forgot to add the spice for my "spicy" golden tenders. That's was my first time in their drive thru, but will be the last. I'm just going to wait after this pandemic settles down so I can order inside and get my food within 5 minutes. Thankfully, the food is still great.

This is my 4th time dropping by at this joint and it has never disappointed me. The staff is friendly and to the point as I usually never run into that issue because I am respectful towards those working hard. The chicken is always fresh when they have asked me to wait and the rolls are buttery and delicious. I always get some side to go with my meal and I love the fries, jalapeño poppers, rolls, mash potatoes, Mac n' cheese, and the corn nuggets. To my surprise the staff member helping me at the register asked if I wanted to give the new funnel cake a try and with my sweet tooth I couldn't pass it up and I am so glad that I didn't because I'm a huge fan now. The place was clean and the music was great. I was able to hold a conversation with my friends who were with me. Btw ask for the zing sauce!!!!

While this was not my first trip to golden chicken it was my first time at this specific location. I have been a long term customer to the one en route to Austin and would always stop for a road snack. Things I like: juicy roasted chicken, fried wings, fried okra, sweet soft rolls Things I did not like: the actual 20+ min wait in the drive thru. Ordering was quick and there was only one car in front of me at the window but we literally sat in the drive thru for 10 min. I assumed it was bc he had a huge order and mine would be quick after but was told it would be another 7 min for fresh wings. I would have appreciated knowing this while ordering bc I would've just simply chose something else instead of waiting 10 MORE minutesThe quality of the food at this location is on par w the other locations and the employees were professional. But if you're not able to get FAST food out quickly, don't make a drive thru cause the point of that is for us to drive right through...not stop for 20+ min in park staring out the window debating if I should move up a bit and pump gas while I wait just to be productive.

Good tasting chicken and other fried food and sides! I also love their deals! Their prices were affordable for sure. Have been eating there for a while. The service was fast and efficient in the drive through. Parking should be sufficient, since it is connected to a gas station. I will, and have been, frequenting this place quite often!

It's a Saturday late afternoon early evening and the Golden Chick located at 2824 Spears Rd. Was backed up. Delay was 30minutes to get my order. The problem as I see it is to not take my order and tell me to pull around but to inform me that right now we are out of chicken and it c will be a 30 minute wait. It's a Saturday not a Friday or whatever day is a popular day. Wasn't told so there were 3 cars ahead of me. When the last car pulled off that got their order you knew when I got to the window to inform me that there was no chicken up and ask if I wanted to wait not just assume it was okay. That's why I chose a fast food restaurant instead of cooking at home. The order was fresh but don't take the customer for granted the next time. If there be a next time

I write this to make sure that the 3.5 review ratings DO NOT apply to the location at the 12320 W. Mccarther Blvd. in Oklahoma City.I had a large crowd to feed, went inside to determine the best value on the menu. Every employee that I had interaction with was professional, polite and the manager (Rochelle) after hearing how many people had to feed, made a point of dropping more tenders and made sure that my visit was awesome. The service received from her and the young lady at the front from the moment I walked in until I left was STELLAR. Additionally, the restaurant was spotless, the food was fresh including the sides and the crowd I had to feed was elated the food was hot and tasty.Don't lose her, she is a ROCK STAR!

Ordered the 3 piece catfish dinner, with Cole slaw and unsweetened tea. Got to the window, paid, and THEN was told it would be a 5 minute wait for my order. Ok...that happens. Got my order. 4 pieces of catfish, cole slaw and sweet tea. The receipt had no tartar packets, but wasn't asked about it. Got 4 packets. Also got no silverware OR napkins. Catfish was good, but the experience wasn't. Returning to this location on Hampton Rd for me is questionable.
