Golden Banh Mi

this might be the only place in colorado i don't feel ripped off buying a sandwich. they are big, tasty, and beautifully made with crisp veggies and a nice kick. i am vegetarian and the tofu really felt first class which was a nice change from most spots i've been, perfectly seared. the egg was also pristinely cooked.the employee who served me was very polite and attentive. honestly, maybe some of the best customer service i've had in denver?awesome restaurant and experience altogether.

I was craving a sandwich during my lunch hour, and saw that Golden Banh was nearby. Glad I stopped in! The menu is simple, 9 main options, a couple of specialty coffees and teas, and one dessert option. It's great for a quick, casual lunch without skipping flavor! I ordered the chicken curry, and all the flavors were balanced, fresh tasting and had the right amount of spice on the backend. The portion was more than I could handle, which I appreciated for the $14.00 price tag. I could see my husband housing a whole sandwich, but he would probably feel like busting a gut afterwards. I also got a Vietnamese coffee to round out my total to $20.00, after tax. It's a casual cafe, no muss no fuss. My kind of place! The owner/manager was also very kind. He kept checking in on me, even with the customers. I'll be back for sure and will try the recommendation of Chicken Katsu.

Golden Banh Mi is located in strip mall that looks like it could use a bit of love, but the sign and front door looks clean and inviting. Golden Banh Mi is easily the nicest store in the strip. The decor is clean and cute and welcoming and the staff was really friendly. We ordered the crispy pork belly banh mi, my husband and I split it and it was plenty of food for two, and at $15 it was a deal. The crispy pork, pâté, and fillings- with jalepeno and pickled vegetables was delicious, the sandwich has perfect amount of spicy mayo, plus the bread was crispy, fresh and light. A new batch of beautifully golden bread was coming out of the oven as we arrived and it smelled heavenly.I look forward to going back and trying more banh mi!

This restaurant is very welcoming and clean. Customer service is through the roof. The food tastes authentic and delicious with reasonable prices. I will be back very soon. :)

6 out of 5 stars! It's been awhile since I've added a new eatery to my running blog post of Colorado favorites. I stopped by Golden Banh Mi between errands and couldn't decide what to order. The guy working at the counter gave me a sample of their braised pork belly, which SOLD me. Got that Banh Mi and a Vietnamese Coffee.My mouth waters just thinking about that braised pork belly. So fresh, tasty, and filling. Also the customer service is as good as the food. They kept checking on me to make sure I was still enjoying. How much they care about their customers really shows, as I witnessed the more people walk in. Worth going out of your way to try anything on their menu!

I am a big fan of Golden Saigon so was excited to try Golden Banh Mi and was not disappointed. It's a cute little shop with many plants just like their Golden Saigon interior. My boyfriend got the crispy pork banh mi, I got the curry chicken, and we traded halves. We could've done with just one sandwich though, they are loaded! They definitely do not slack with ingredients. Both sandwiches were very flavorful and I liked that the baguette is not too tough/crunchy. Thai tea was also delicious. The servers were so kind just like their sister restaurant again. Gave us some chips on the house. Excited to come back to try more!

I LOVE this place for Banh Mi. This place used to be a Subway so you'll see some familiar furniture - but they've definitely made this place a great spot for a quick bite to eat. Each sandwhich is hand-crafted - you can definately tell that they are putting a lot of effort into them. The bread is soft, the veggies are seasoned nicely, and the tofu was very tasty! Also these sandwiches are HUGE. You will be very satisfied after one of these boys.

Very friendly and helpful service Fresh baked bread A variety of options but not overwhelming menu.It smells great in the shop.I tried the pork banh mi and Vietnamese coffee. Very tasty and quality ingredients. Will be coming back many times to try all of the other options.

Excellent food with decent prices for what you get. Their sandwiches are HUGE and definitely a great place to stop by for lunch. Their pork banh mi tasted amazing and was moist and flavourful. The people working were kind enough to give me a free fountain drink as well. My first time eating here and it won't be my last!

I love this place. I haven't had anything I haven't liked, but since I discovered the Crispy Shrimp Banh Mi I haven't been able to stray. I don't know what they've done to make this sandwich as incredible as it is, but you've got to try it. It's a sandwich and a satisfying meal all in one. I also love the staff here, they're always so pleasant. This is one of my favorite places in Denver!
