Ambience: top notch and definitely a place to go to for a first date, Sunday brunch, girls/guys day! Service: was great! Our waitress was so helpful and attentive. Food: ok and in the point of more hype than good. The fried chicken was over battered and greasy. It makes me wonder if the oil it was fried in was old. The biscuit was dry but had a nice crust on top. The crab cake Benedict was okay as well. The crab cake is more breading than crab. The hollandaise was creamy and tangy. And the poached egg was cooked perfectly. The drink that I got was not to my taste. But my husband like it. It was bitter sweet with basil. Heavy on the basil taste.

I'm in town on business and was looking for something fresh and unique for dinner. I'm so pleased to have found Glasshouse online. Apparently, locals to this area know how good it is as well - this place was packed on a Wednesday night. This is the freshest most creative cuisine I've had in a long time. You won't be disappointed if you enjoy real food. The atmosphere is energetic and bright with a greenhouse feel to the all glass dining room.

Love the ambiance here. The glass windows and the natural light make the place so open. The shakshuka was amazing! It had a good amount of spice and flavor to it. The drinks were very well made as well. I enjoyed the coffee liquor drink they had as the special. The dessert was made of chocolate mouse, marshmallow and graham crackers. It was a little too sweet for my liking. I hope to come back and try the other vegetarian options!

As I reflect on my dining experience, I'd like to share some detailed thoughts about the restaurant we visited in the business development area near our hotel, Hilton Garden Inn. A local recommended this restaurant to us, and I'm glad we took their advice. The restaurant boasts a beautiful ambiance with an airy, open concept that I absolutely loved. The fact that they offer both indoor and outdoor seating was a major plus, especially considering the unpredictable Chicago weather.During our visit, our group of four dined on a rotating menu featuring a variety of delectable options. Although not pictured, we enjoyed dishes such as Trout, Portobello mushroom (for a gluten-free friend), and two orders of hanger steaks with potatoes. However, I must admit that our dining experience was slightly marred by what felt like rushed service from our waiter, who repeatedly asked if we were ready to order, despite us waiting for one more person. This made us feel a bit hurried, especially considering the restaurant wasn't very busy at the time.Despite this, our experience was elevated by the waiter's wine recommendations, which we thoroughly enjoyed. However, I was slightly disappointed by the bread, as it was not the traditional focaccia I had expected. Additionally, I found it peculiar that I couldn't order a salad with protein for dinner, as this was only an option during lunch hours. I believe offering protein options with salads would cater to a wider range of preferences and allow for meal sharing, which is a common dining practice.Lastly, I can't help but mention that the portion sizes seemed smaller than anticipated for the price point. If you visit this restaurant, I'd recommend opting for their small plates, which are perfect for sharing and provide a more fulfilling dining experience. Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, the food quality and presentation were outstanding, making it a worthwhile dining destination.

Good food but the prices are outrageous especially for lunch. $37 for a salad and pizza at lunch is very high for our area. The Caesar salad would be better with croutons instead of breadcrumbs. Unpleasant texture, messy, hard to eat, and doesn't add anything to the dish. Also, $14 for a salad of that size and type is crazy. The lamb pizza was disappointing. Not sure red sauce is the right choice for that flavor combination. Final note, I tried calling the restaurant about my order a couple of times and no one answered. The voicemail greeting is inaudible even at full volume. When I mentioned it to the staff when I picked up my order, the host said "I'll tell them." Who? Clearly did not intend to do anything with that info

I will definitely be coming back to Glasshouse Kitchen! Was interested after seeing the bar manager in a cocktail competition where their entry was really good so went back to see if the food matched. Both the cocktail and brunch menus were excellent. A lot of restaurants even pretty good ones tend to "phone it in" for brunch because the standard foods are such crowdpleasers and I was pleasantly surprised at how original and creative the brunch options here were. Everything was also executed perfectly. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive and the location is gorgeous. I will definitely be returning to try the dinner menu sometime

We went for brunch on a Sunday at 1pm. My fiance recommended this restaurant, after having a nice dinner here. The brunch did not live up to the expectations she set. We kept our meal simple with the curried cauliflower pizza and the shakshuka verde. The curried cauliflower pizza was quite good. we ended up splitting it half and half. The peppers on the pizza were the star, and the cauliflower was more like the accent. The crust was crispy on the bottom and chewy throughout the rest like a good woodfired pizza. The shakshuka verde was inedible, which is why we split the pizza. It was a bowl of unflavored tomatillo sauce. 2 eggs and really nothing else in the way of the ingredients, that we could taste. the bread that came with it didn't add much to the dish. The restaurant decor is nice and the service at the bar was good. They add a kitchen appreciation fee, which is great if you appreciate the food the kitchen sent out.

Dined here with coworkers and enjoyed the Salumi pizza. Several people had the Margherita pizza and it looked amazing. This place has good cocktails with a nice ambiance. It was a little pricey but convenient if you work in RTP.

We found out about this restaurant through numerous influencers on Instagram. We were in the area and decided to give it a try. We made reservations the day of and we were immediately seated upon arrival. The wine list was a little limited but I was able to find something I liked. Our food arrived in a decent about of time and everything was really good. My trout was cooked to perfection and my daughter enjoyed her short rib pizza. Overall we had a pleasant experience here. I'd definitely return. My only complaint is the lack of wine choices...other than that everything was good.

Great place for a casual weeknight after work. We regularly go to split a pizza (salumi is the best by far), but everything we've ever had there is amazing. Don't forget to try their brunch menu. Best fried chicken biscuit we've had around the triangle. Service is always great too.If you make an online reservation, be sure to verify indoor vs outdoor seating.
