Gizmo Brew Works

TLDR: Relaxing atmosphere. Albeit tricky to find. Flavorful brews available on draft or in take home cans. Indoor/outdoor seating. No food apart from packaged snacks and occasional food truck. Alcoholic and non alcoholic options offered. Reasonable prices. Dog friendly.My favorites: Netflix & Dill (Pickle Gose with Black Garlic), Deep Purple (Dragonfruit Ale), and Deep Blue (Blueberry Ale). Next time I'd try some of their blends, like Blue Dragon (1/2 deep purple and 1/2 deep blue).I didn't even realize there was a brewery over here until Gizmo hosted a paint your pet class (led by Victoria Lowry). The brewery is set back between Westgate, Ebenezer Church, and Glenwood. We never noticed it from the road and even with GPS were not confident on which building held the taproom. The class was inside, however, the outside beer garden looked nice with chairs and a TV playing the football game. The bartender was very patient and helpful. She allowed us all to taste several beers. If you like pickle juice then look no further than the Netflix & Dill. It was delicious. The inside is kept at a comfortable temperature and we enjoyed their music selection (classic rock, 90-2000s alternative). Overall, we enjoyed this brewery and recommend it to others!

They have some incredible flavors for beer! All very unique. My favorite was the dragonfruit beer. Which normally it's very hard to get a strong dragonfruit flavor but they did a great job. If you like pickles definitely get the pickle flavor, it was exactly like drinking pickle juice. I do wish they had a cider option but they did have some great non alcoholic options. Their outdoor section is great and dog friendly.

They have a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease with their perfect playlist playing that night, I couldn't have asked for a better ambiance.The beertenders were very friendly and attentive.Here are a few that stood out to me:- Dad Jokes, a refreshing Pilsner with a 3.8% ABV- Road to el Dorado, a tantalizing New England IPA with a 6.2% ABV- FestBier, a delightful Festbier with a 5.5% ABV- Raleigh Red, a flavorful Red Ale with a 4.5% ABV- Yeah Toast!, a rich and smooth Brown Ale with a 5.8% ABV

We visited last night for a few beers and loved the setup! It isn't far from RDU so you do get to see planes as they prepare for landing! The brewery is tucked away and is in a nice area. It is very easy to find with ample parking. They have plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor seating near the bar.The staff was friendly and would let you sample beers before you picked what you wanted. They also have non-alcoholic drinks for sale. Overall, it is a wonderful place to come and hang out while enjoying a craft beer!

Gizmo makes awesome brews especially their specialty items. It was a bit quiet on the Friday night I went however it was FREEZING outside. Their signage is a bit small from the road and I miss it every time I go here and double back around. Plenty of spacing outside with a TV and fire pit. Pups and children allowed. Pups allowed inside. Bathroom easy to find.

Off the beaten path. Food truck just came as we where leaving. The guy behind the counter was great.

Great hidden gem with outstanding outdoor seating and live music! What a great place! Staff are super friendly and informative about the locale! We came upon this place by accident and since today is National Craft Distillery Day, why not?? We had a few beers (Black Stiletto and Bee Keeper Wheat) plus some ginger beers (Hibiscus Lavender and Lime Agave) and the Blue Window food truck (Moroccan Chicken plate and Lamb Gyro wrap) which was so delicious! The live music was amazing and added such a great vibe to the place! Way to go Gizmo's! Loved it! We will be back again and again!!!

Relaxing vibes around fire pits for sunset and happy hour. Great brews, didn't have a food truck when I was there last summer, but liked the laid back patio.

I love this place! Ample outdoor seating with good cover to protect you from the sun, sufficient parking (and overflow parking for really busy days), live music on the regular, and usually a food truck or two on weekends. Their beer selection is excellent, and it's easy to pop in and out if you want to grab a six-pack (or more!) on your way to a friend's house. So happy this is close to my house, only wish there were a way to bike here (safely).

Always great beer selection! Staff is awesome! Wish they had wine like their other locations! Love the raspberry beekeeper!
