Gio's Sicilian Pizza Shop

Start off by saying it can get a little confused and if you don't know exactly where you're going. Because there are two spots with Gio in the name next to each other so just be aware. They have a parking lot and they have street parking, so you have to go around back if you're going to find this specific spot. When you get there there are some seats on the outside if it's a nice day You can take advantage. But if you come in the inside there's plenty of seats all around the building. Will come in and look to the left and then they'll take your order, which is not the largest menu but it's still plenty. They have cake and they have gelato as well so if you want some dessert this is a spot that you could come to as well. I ended up eating at the restaurant instead of carrying it out because it was pretty empty it had a lot of space and places to sit. Everybody was super nice and offer me some ice water while I waited. Keep walking around, you will see that there's another spot there that does wine so you can also do that as well if you are trying to get the full experience.I tried the spicy pepperoni. It had the nicest pictures lol, and I was not disappointed. This pizza was amazing. The cheese pull was immaculate! They put tons of cheese and plenty of pepperoni on here so the flavor was amazing. And the spice of the pepperoni was out of this world. The pizza was square-ish and came with about eight slices, somebody could probably do two slices and be good to go! They were actually really nice sized. The pepperoni was spice perfectly calm with a cheese was melted to perfection, the crust was cooked very well, and a sauce rounded everything up very nicely. This might have to go in one of my favorites category as far as pizza goes!

Posted hours are not honored. It's 130 PM on Sunday and was turned away because it was closed. Even worse, this was after the host directed us to the back. So the host doesn't know that the sister restaurant is closed?

Best pizza in Atl!! Not that it's saying much cause GA is def not know for their pizza but none the less it's amazing.

This. My god. This is the pizza you dream about. Long after I've gone and left Atlanta, when people ask, "ey what's the best pizza you've ever eaten?" I'll think of this and my mouth will start to water. Me and my sister shared the double mozz pizza and IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! Like seriously, I wouldn't change a thing -- the crust, the sauce, the cheese! It. Was. Perfect.We also got a slice of tiramisu, and it was good don't get me wrong, but honestly the pizza was so good I could've been fine without it.Whenever I'm back in Atlanta, I'm going here. Gio's you have a slice of my heart.

Deals is hands-down my favorite pizza spot in Atlanta. They use aged pizza though and I think it makes all the difference I get a spicy pepperoni pizza and the baked ziti and it is so authentic and delicious. You can also bring your own bottle and it's set up with big table so plenty a room for large groups. The pricing is also very reasonable but within reason considering the quality of the food.

Very good crust and texture, but I didn't really like the tomato sauce. Something about it was a little bland, but it wasn't a horrible pizza.

Very disappointed. We had high expectations considering it's part of Antico's "Little Italy." One flavor had the consistency of glue, and another flavor was chalky and crumbled like dried out Playdo. Very disappointing.

Really nice outdoor seating but the service was trash. No one really explained the layout and we were actually trying to get to Antico's neopolitan. I want to go back for the slice but the truck is to get drinks at tropicale next door and eat a slice on a nice day out.

The ambiance is a very traditional Italian kitchen, and the pizza server was very hospitable with this to go order. A little pricy but the crust on this immaculate creation made it worth it!

Great pizza on the go but only pizza no sides or drinks but the scenery is nice and quiet
