Giordano's Trattoria Romana

Long time visitor to Carefree/Cave Creek and new resident. First time to Giordano's Trattoria and what a wonderful experience it was. From the minute we walked in the door and were greeted to paying the tab after a wonderful meal of Veal Francese and Dover Sole Picatta everything was top notch. This is sure to become a regular in our rotation of restaurants and should be on your list to visit as well.

The food was like being back in Italy, so good! Wonderful ambience for a date night with incredible customer service. We will be back soon!

Love Italian food but typically dislike Italian restaurants, top tier mom pop spot, didn't try a single thing I didn't like and every employee was very personable. Highly recommend.

Our server and server's assistant were very nice and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our food very much but sadly we will never come back to this establishment. We have tried a few times to eat at this restaurant but each time we were turned away from being too big of a party with no reservation. We finally made a reservation to celebrate as I just graduated from Nursing school today and our neighbors (weekly regulars), said this is their favorite restaurant and gave us a gift certificate. We ate dinner and we were waiting to pay the bill when the same lady who was rude the previous encounters came up to us saying, "pay your bill and leave because other guests are trying to sit so hurry up". I explained we just got our bill? I was completely shocked. She said, "your gift certificate was already ran, and we need you to hurry up". I laughed in a loss of words as I have never had someone say that to us after being there a little over an hour and we were celebrating my graduation. We asked our super kind server assistant who she was as this is not the first unpleasant experience with her and he explained it was an owner.. Adele you need better customer service and to not speak to paying customers that way... very disappointed as your restaurant was recommended to us. Sadly, we would rather go elsewhere for people who care about our business. Thanks

Went in on a Friday night and was seated right away. Our server Anthony was very helpful in deciding our bottle of wine. We had their mixed green salad. The greens were fresh For dinner the shrimp scampi. Six large shrimp in a wine sauce and asparagus. The dinner rolls were warm and had a wonderful crunch. We were never rushed through our meal. The dining room is warm and inviting.

Love this place for its homey appeal and great food. Real Italy here, right down to the very authentic tiramisu. The four of us have eaten here a few times and Anthony and family Do a great job even when I bring 14 people for dinner.

We went for dinner last night to celebrate my kids' father's passing. Veal Parm was his favorite food yet he never came to this place. Actually, his favorite was Cucina Tagliani, but none of us like that place so we decided to celebrate here. Lol. The service was superb. Everyone was super helpful and attentive. The garlic focaccia was amazing. We had the baked clams and mussels for appetizer. I had the chicken piccata, which was so good with angel hair pasta and piccata sauce over it. The focaccia was great for dipping into any of the sauces. My son had veal Parm, my daughter had chicken Parm. Her fiancé had Branzani francese . My DIL had chicken francese and my grandchildren had a mozzarella stick/square and chicken Milanese. Everything was delicious. Will definitely go back. The only negative thing I will say is that one of my grandchildren is a very picky eater. And they wouldn't let her order off the kids menu because she's definitely over 12. But we were seven people and ordered a lot of food, so I thought it would've been a nice gesture if they let us just order something off the kids menu for her.

We were told this was a good restaurant for Italian food. They were wrong. This is a great restaurant for Italian food. We started with Mozzarella Fritti and Baked Clams. For dinner I had Linguini and clams which was the best I have ever had. My wife had the Salmon which was very tasty. I have to say I have been to many Italian Restaurants but none like Giordanos. I don't think there is an Italian restaurant that can stand up to this one.

Fantastic! First time here, great portions, price, and service. Everyone was super friendly, and the place has a great feel. I would just recommend reservations as they are booked in season. Will be back for sure
