Gino's Pizza

Gino's has been super solid over the years. They have great, no-nonsense service and they serve a phenomenal NY pizza. Ultra-reliable and never skimpy on the portions. Delivery and pick-up have always been easy, not too many people dine in. Their supreme pizza is hard to top, but the lasagna pizza comes close. Always order the large, it's a great value. And add some ranch/marinara on the side...if you're into that. Which I am. They also offer a crazy-big 28" pizza, it's a fun option for a party or when you're hosting a bunch of people. In four years of frequent patronage, I had one bad experience which coincided with a change in ownership about a year back. After giving them a few more chances lately, I can say they are firmly back in the saddle and making a fantastic product.

Feels very much like a NY pizza shop, from someone who has been to several in NYC.Deli style seating with the "kitchen" right there. No frills.Massive, thin, foldable pizza slices with generous topping portions.Best NY style pizza we've had in the RDU area.

This place makes it very easy to order online. Ordered half Pineapple and jalepeno pizza half jalepeno and bacon pizza- delish! The perfect cheesy, wood fire tasting pizza!

We've been searching for real pizza since we left the NE years ago... FINALLY found a slice worth eating! Crust is thin, sauce is not sweet and cheese is just right. Definitely recommend this place.

This used to be my favorite pizza spot. The owner was always there to welcome you and make it feel like it was a place to see old friends. The pizza was always top notch. The last two times I've been I left very disappointed. The pizza didn't have much flavor to it and the crust was super thin and soggy. I just discovered that the place is under new ownership and now I understand the change in quality. It's a shame because this was the best spot in town.

Had no idea the place had changed hands since my last visit. This was my go to slice spot in the triangle. What I got was two paper thin wet slices with zero structure and cheap ingredients. Wish I'd seen the reviews first. Gino's no longer exists.

Looking at the pizza here from a price to quality perspective it is a bit underwhelming. For the price of the pizza, I am expecting a larger pizza and a pizza that is high in quality. Although the size of the pizza was large, the quality didn't stand out to me. The toppings were plentiful, but seemed like they were just thrown on there without much thought. The crust didn't have a smokey charred taste, and overall was very basic. A very simple and basic pizza place in my opinion.

This used to be our favorite spot for authentic NY-style pizza. Unfortunately, they have new owners and everything has gone downhill. We order the same three things each time so we are aware of the quality and taste. This past experience became our last. We get home to see that we paid for an extremely overcooked and burnt pizza. The garlic knots were were tough and lacked garlic/flavor. The mozzarella sticks weren't how they normally were. I then look at the bank statement the next morning to see the pending charge "New Owners", which then explained everything. The fact that they were ok sending us on our way with the pizza alone says a lot about quality control/ lack of caring. We won't be back to this spot which is a shame since we raved about this spot for YEARS.

really good ny style pizza and good price ! recommend a 10 out of 10 if you ever come out here

New owner has problems understanding business practices with tax of North Carolina. I'm always talking to him about how he charges me too many taxes. He does not accept coupons that he honors for advertising. He'll tell you that they are no longer valid after you paid for them. Beware they will take your money any way they can.
