My review is not based on the food. However it is on the portion size and price increases. Everytime I come here the price is increased. When I first started coming here you used to be able to get a fish platter for $7 and it was doubled this size in the photo. This platter was $15.00 for a medium but the container is definitely a small. I ate my food and I'm still hungry like what I'm the world. This fish taste different then how they used to make it. It now taste like it has a batter on it. I'm not sure if I'll be back still on the fence. Especially if I'm gonna still be hungry.

Me and my best friend went to the lantern fest in Coatesville last Saturday and had the pleasure of trying this food truck! It was so good, we didn't even walk back to our sits we just stood there and ate the entire platter! The people were so nice, and fast the food was amazing! And turns out my step dad actually knows the owner, such a small world! 10/10 would def recommend

My wife and I decided to hit up the night market in Phoenixville with the intention of getting food and networking with local businesses in the area. Gigi & Big R's food truck was the main food establishment there outside of the local vendors. Their food was an easy choice because I could smell their delicious meals throughout the night market. I ordered the fried whiting with Mac n cheese & rice n beans. The price was very affordable for the amount and quality of food which was amazing. The food came out quickly and the fish was so crunchy and flavorful just like I like it. Can't wait to check out their restaurant in the city when I'm in the area.

Plenty of food for $20. I ran into this place during the July 4th festival downtown and the line was long and I see why. Flavorful Caribbean food with plenty to share. Though the seasoning could have been a bit better, the food was well done for a group of folks working out of their truck. Not much to say here, but "job well done."

I had jerk chicken, rice and beans, and collards at the Manayunk Streat Festival. Overall a really good meal. Jerk Chicken was not dry and the food was just spicy enough. I would go have a meal if I am passing by in the future.

I have been searching recently for some delicious soul fried fish! I asked around and I heard try GiGi's more than once! I was on a mission for fish..but once I got there and smelled all the different yummy foods! Again--focus-so the order area is a small space,but it has approximately 5-7 chairs and one table! The menu items are listed and there were many options! I ordered the whiting fish; beans and rice with Mac and cheese! The Mac and Cheese was not cheesy and easily forgettable! The fish was exactly what I was seeking--seasoned well outer crunch and flaky inside!The prices were reasonable-I will be back for sure!

This place is nasty!!! I spent 7 hours inside the Emergency room because I caught food poisoning!!!! I could have died. My heart rate was 46 when I arrived at the hospital. Be safe and don't patronize this business with those sour collard greens and greasy macaroni and cheese. Karma what goes around comes around. Selling consumers spoiled rotten food!!! Despicable!!!!I want my damn money back!!!!

Everyone told me they were good but I don't agree. Fish collards and cabbage were bland. Especially the fish. Fried needed more salt, onion, garlic, old bay... everything! We got different platters but all fried and all bland batters. Maybe I hit the wrong chef on the wrong day but I can't see returning. Sorry, not sorry, way more places to try. The collards and cabbage were ok and why I'll give 3 but I combined them to get more flavor. Meh.

I got a medium oxtails and it was horrible. I can't believe how much this place has went down. They were not only small but skimpy. The rice was UNDERCOOKED and hardly no gravy. Definitely not the GIgi's of the past.

Horrible customer service skills and very rude. The owner will penalize you if you use a third party delivery app and they steal or deliver your order to the wrong location/address. When I called to speak with the owner or manager I was greeted with a nasty, hostile tone of voice saying I cannot order from them for delivery unless I come in and pick it up myself. The owner threatened to ban my family's name from ordering for delivery across all of the 3rd party platforms (I only have one but wow) when the third party delivery service accepts full responsibility for my order not being delivered to me. Very inconsiderate and wrong for penalizing the consumer for someone else's mistake.
