This store has a decent selection of groceries for its size. But the self service is just a disaster. Coupons never work, you don't know if you need coupons, if you put in your card nothing happens. You don't get the discount. What are you supposed to do? Go back in the store and figure it out? call someone? if you're gonna make self check out the crapshoot of success that it is, then I'm done. Deleted app today and I'll just go to Acme.

This is the cutest little market. Perfect for the neighborhood. Has everything I need and then some. The produce is fairly priced in comparison to the Acme up the street. It reminds me of a bite sized Whole Foods. I love the cheese options. Crackers too. There's even an option to make your own olive oil. Now how cool is that. Downstairs there's beer and wine. Tons of beer on tap. You can purchase to go or drink a glass downstairs and play some arcade games. It's quite cozy down there. Upstairs I didn't see any actual registers.. there's a bunch of self checkout but the woman that worked the area was super helpful and nice. Everyone is really nice actually. I would prefer this store over Acme for sure.

Great addition to northern liberties. They have a good produce section. Their grocery selection is quite limited though. They have a section with cold cuts and delicious sushi. Go on Wednesdays for the sushi. Pretty good $5 deals. Very friendly employees..Now for the heirloom underground... this place is amazing. Very friendly employees here too. Special shout out to Steve (I hope I got the name right), the guy who sort of runs heirloom underground. They have a very good happy hour from 5-7. Overall, I would keep coming back to heirloom market to pick sushi and for heirloom underground. I would continue doing my grocery shopping elsewhere

GIANT Heirloom Market is super convenient. I go there whenever I need something for dinner last minute or whenever I'm too lazy to go to ACME. Even though the place looks small, it really isn't. The produce section has an expansive spread of fruits and vegetables that are fresher and of higher quality than ACME. The meat section seems small but they have cuts of chicken, beef, pork, turkey, veal and sausages. They also have a deli section. Heirloom pretty much has everything you need and the prices are comparable to ACME if not less. At the checkout section, they put out coupons that can be used toward your entire purchase. Downstairs in the basement is a beer and wine store/underground taproom with 30+ beers and a few wines on tap you can drink from. Orange juice is free, if you're with somebody who doesn't drink. The staff is very nice and will hook you up with a scan-able bracelet that you scan on the beer tap that you wish to drink from. The bracelet will register all the beers and how much you have drank, so that you can pay your total bill when you are done. They charge by the ounce and the prices are extremely fair. The best part is if you go during Happy Hour, all the beers are $0.33/oz. Also the beer selection changes from time to time so it's not always the same. Or If you just want to pick up a six pack, a 24 pack or even wine, the taproom has it. And the selection is pretty great too.On the other side of the room, there are many game options you can partake in while you enjoy your drinks. They've got giant jenga, retro arcade games, Super Mario Bros, among many others. All of these are FREE.

Super clean, organized, and not too full during the day at all. Delicious sushi and even though it's a small storefront, you can almost get anything here. All lanes are self checkout and there are plenty of them, so you're only really limited by the time between each person to clean the surfaces. I also really enjoy their baked goods section, although it's small, and the frozen section is oddly diverse as well.

I was pleasantly surprised! There are tons of fresh foods from veggies, fruits, meats, or meals to take home. There is only self checkout options- which preferably is so much easier. The taproom is amazing. You buy a wristband with the cashier and you use that for the entire time of the taproom to pour your own- even a flight. They have everything from beer to cider to wine. They even have mixers available for free. The selection of choices that there for buying alcohol is amazing and the best in the area by far. There are so many to choose from from typical to small breweries.

I really like Heirloom as the nicer alternative to Acme down the block. The produce is definitely better quality and though it's much smaller than a full-on grocery store, they have most of the basics you need. Once you've been a couple times, you'll have a sense of what you can or can't get there. They have lots of gluten-free and healthy options and a sushi counter with some rolls only $5 on Wednesdays! Yum. Plus sandwiches and some sorta overpriced meals to go. There's an entire underground bar with a good beer (make your own pack and lots of 6-packs) and wine selection. They have games down there too, although no one can stay down there during this pandemic, obvs. I really like Heirloom- sometimes a bit pricier than say Acme, but as I said the quality is way better!

We were here on a Sunday for weekly grocery shopping. The place is really cool. You can shop for groceries and fresh meat upstairs while downstairs has beer and wine tastings. Downstairs also features board and arcade games for kids. So, parents can chill with a drink in hand while kids are having their own fun with games. Really cool idea. The staff is friendly. We went with our pup and didnt take him inside, just till the checkout counter. The person supervising the self-checkout counter so friendly to our pup. One advice, ensure that you become a member and use coupons. We saved $16 off $38. Yes, that true. That's almost 50%. We were members and got member discount plus we had paper coupons. The prices , in my opinion, are similar to Whole foods & a bit expensive than TJs. But when you use coupons it competes directly with ACME & Walmart. Yeah, after you get married you tend to keep track of expenses. I haven't tried their downstairs place but I really recommend parents to try it out. Seemed really nice.

After shopping there several times, I noticed a trend: the men who work there are incredibly lazy. Most of them just stand around chit-chatting with the other male employees. The women do the work. When I asked the women if they are being paid more since they are doing 90% of the work, they said "No". When I asked them if they feel valued and are treated with respect, they said "No". I won't be returning to this place.

Giant Heirloom has necessities, not everything. It is more of a convenience store with a meat and produce section. And an arcade and booze.
