Family-owned and treats you like family! We headed out to this restaurant located on West Chester Pike based on the recommendation of a friend that had been going there for years. For the table, we started out with the calamari Fritti, which was lightly breaded and quite tasty. Every dinner comes with the soup and salad, so I opted for the house salad, which was fresh and came with an option of dressings. For my main course, I chose the Frutti di Mare, which was excellent! Homemade angel hair pasta with mussels, clams, shrimps, scallops in a white wine garlic sauce. I like my food spicy and the garlic was perfection.The other diners at our table, all tried different items, and we were all pleasantly pleased. This is a low-key establishment where the serving staff doesn't hover over you, but is close by, if you need anything. It was delightful to enjoy dinner without being constantly interrupted. Overall, our group agreed that this was a five-star experience down the street from home, and a place that we would welcome going again.

I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Massimo that was cooked perfectly. It came with either soup or salad and I opted for the spinach and mushroom soup was good. I would have liked to have more spinach in it. Mark our waiter was excellent and very attentive of our table.

Went there tonight with a party of 8. Started off ok with water on the table.(yea). Half hour later had to ask for bread at an Italian Restaurant!!!!!. finally bread(well something that looked like bread) arrived with a plate of oil and something. 2 hours later entrees arrived with an excuse of they had a large party ahead of us.Finally got to eat my 1 pound of pasta and 6 shrimp for 34$. Plates and glassware piled up on the table until we left. Never again. Terrible service.PS: was willing to leave, but as soon as we decided to leave the food arrived.

If I could leave less than one star, I would. My sisters were taking me out for dinner to celebrate my retirement. We had been to a party here recently and everything was lovely. This experience couldn't have been more different.The service was very poor. Our server started off very friendly, but after taking our order basically ignored us. There were no check backs. My sister found a hair in her salad. Not wanting to cause a problem she just pushed her salad aside. Also, her water glass was dirty. A lot of the dishes were over salted. There was a $3 upcharge for asking for oil and garlic on a side dish of spaghetti instead of red sauce. The server never said that would be the case and was extremely rude when we asked about the extra fee. One of my sisters was given a completely wrong side dish.We asked to see the manager. He was indifferent and the irritated vibe I got was he thought we wanted free food. In fact, we turned down a half-hearted offer of free dessert. We didn't want to gain anything. We were simply looking for someone to own the issues and apologize. Is that so much to ask of a really bad, really expensive meal?Avoid this restaurant!

Four different orders, four cases of food poisoning. and the waitress complained about being short staffed as she'd forget to bring things to the table. Repeatedly. s So, great place of you like feeling unimportant and being served a week of dehydration the hard way. would have been better off at the neighboring McDonalds, and two of us arevegetarians...

Ouch went here on the night before Thanksgiving. Probably a bad idea. I had the special which was chicken with broccoli rabe artichokes and roasted red peppers. The chicken and the rabe were absolutely inedible. They were both so tough they were not even able to be cut with the knife. Redeeming value was a side of potatoes and zucchini. A strange combination but tasty nonetheless.

Don't judge a book by its cover. The exterior is unassuming and doesn't really look like a restaurant, but it's definitely worth going in. The food was incredible! We had a variety of dishes and they were all delicious. Each entree was served with a salad or soup. Everything seemed authentic and homemade/made from scratch. I can't wait to go back to try more! The service was friendly. We're going to be back for sure.
