General Joe's Chopstix

It was impressive when we received a call from a long time friend that we've known for years of patronizing this restaurant. She read our review and called to express her outrage at what happen with our salads. She told us that she will take care of this and she did. We took a chance and ordered the salads again and to my surprise we were expected and there was no charge for the salads. They were very good and were like all other salads we had come to love. It's not always about the error that was made with the food. It is totally all about resolving the error and coming to a resolution with the customer. Management thank you for you attention to this matter.Sorry, but we dug-in to the salad and forgot to take more pictures.

Came by for lunch it's been awhile I got the General Joe's Tso's Chicken. Oh my god for a lunch meal it was so good and there was so much food. I'll be back the lady was so sweet and kind. Sorry I didn't get her name.

My girlfriend and I tried the General Joe's chicken, Singapore shrimp and beef tao phen. We ordered through yelp and went into the restaurant to pick up the food. The lady at the counter was super nice and even offered us more sauce and silverware. This place is a good spot if you're in the mood for some Asian/Chinese food. The restaurant itself looks well kept and the staff is super friendly. I highly recommend this place for takeout.

Fresh tasting General Tsos chicken. One star off because it's made from thigh meat. Sauce was tangy sweet with a little bit of chili taste and just right. Comes with fried rice but i substituted steamed instead. Fast to -go service. Once order was ready I was offered soy sauce and chili as well as a fork- nice. All for under $10.

Shrimp fried rice had about 5 small shrimp in it. The Mongolian beef had no flavor. This was disappointing because we used to visit this place a few s years ago and it was so much more tasteful.

Very good customer service. The man with the very deep voice is the one that helped me lol. He accommodated everything I needed, and was fast$l! My food was pretty good! I definitely will return

Nostalgia.Pre-pandemic there was a General Joe's on Montrose that I would stop at once every few months after a hard day at work for guilty pleasure "Chinese-American" food. Found this location accidentally and was pleasantly surprised to see the owner from Montrose there. Yay! Ordered their wonton soup, shrimp mini rolls, Singapore chicken (what I came for) and tried their chicken lo mein.Wonton soup - soup was nice and there were 4 medium sized wontons - these were different than what I was use too - the other location had more wrap and less filling so I was pleasantly surprisedShrimp mini rolls - def shrimp filled - crispy and good - they gave me duck sauce which I guess was their version of sweet and sour sauce but I ended up eating it plain and with SrirachaSingapore chicken - taste was similar to before but the chicken were a lot of bits mixed in with bigger pieces (this is not made with big pieces in general but there was a lot more bits than normal - in my opinion), came with rice (steamed or fried)Chicken lo mein - it was filled with chicken, cabbage, carrots but not enough noodles for a carb girl like me. I think the cabbage gave it a strange taste so it wasn't my thing but it wasn't bad just not what my taste buds are attracted too (the cabbage was cut in bigger strips than what I'm use too)Overall, it was good. It brought back memories. And it fulfilled a craving.This isn't some 5 star Chinese restaurant so I'm not reviewing it like one. It was what I expected. Guilty pleasure Chinese American food.

I have been going to General Joe's for a little over two years now, but today I just had to rave about it. I discovered the place just with it being my local Asian cuisine, and I've never had a bad moment with them since. However, today they truly outdid themselves. It's Labor Day and they are in their working hard, and the food tasted so fresh and the flavor was out of this world.

Ok wow my new favorite Chinese place, 10/10. First time trying General Joes & it was amazing! I got the sweet & sour chicken, fried rice, egg roll & cheese wontons. Everything was delicious, I will be coming back!
