General Joe Chopstix

We like to give business to different restaurants, we switched things up a bit today, we have stayed home for the past five days, but I have to say without being rude to people looking at this review, this was by far the worse Chinese food I've ever had in my life, everything was so bad we just ate the vegetables, and the shrimp from one of the plates, and one of the plates was supposed to be chicken and shrimp, well there was zero shrimp included in the plate. Uber has a 4.5 rating on this, and it is a place that shouldn't even be serving food, we looked it up here on Yelp and it is only two, to my surprise it should be a one, but some reviews are mixed with high fives, and trust me order and eat here at a high risk, the entire food was tasteless, bad quality of meats, including the shrimp, and Kung Pao sauce tasted just like the stir fried combo, and the lo mein noodles were horrible, just as bad as the meat in it.

I have been coming here for about 16 years since my kids were barely beginning elementary school. Now they're college graduates. We eat here every week or so as a family thing.

Extremely unfriendly and rude weekend manager . Disgusting attitude. Unwilling to guide or help people with allergies . Scary place . First chines Microwaved food restaurant in the world. If you love stale food this is the place to go. Compared to this McDonald's is fine dining.

They are good on some days but not consistent. I normally get fried chicken wings with shrimp fried rice and it is pretty good. Today I got sweet and sour pork and it's not good, the batter on pork looks old and not fresh,the only thing I'm going to eat is the rice.

I like this place... in General. But then I'm just an average Joe who doesn't know how to use Chopstix.This is American Chinese food all the way, located in Fiesta and it's not bad but definitely even though it's cheap it's not our kind of Chinese food. Still it's a cute little local business which is able to charge less for Chinese American food than you would expect because it's inside the grocery store.They have been closed a lot of the time they're supposed to be open lately, so I highly recommend going to their other location (which is not inside a grocery store) on Westheimer. The food is just as good, maybe a little bit more expensive. This one has become unreliable with regards to closing times.

Last night was the first and last time I will order from this place. I ordered online and what a surprise! I spent 20 minutes driving around looking for the storefront. Doesn't have one. After circling the area shown on my map app many times, I decided to park and go in the Fiesta Mart and ask for help. Never would have guessed it was located INSIDE FIESTA MART. Since it was prepaid, I couldn't just not pick it up. I took the food back to my hotel and my husband and I had no idea what they had prepared when looking at the food and knowing what we ordered. The moo goo gai pan was cubes of gristly chicken with broccoli and carrots in a brown sauce. The chicken with broccoli dish I ordered looked and tasted like pork cubes that had no broccoli, but some red bell peppers and carrots. The fried rice had no flavor and the shrimp in my husband's fried rice were obviously canned and about the size of a dime. If you look up either of the dishes we ordered on the web you will see how wrong they were. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Excellent fried chicken appetizer . Excellent crab Rangoon (triangular shaped ). Excellent 2 item combo with fried rice. Cashew chicken and sweet & sour chicken chosen. Good meat quality. Prices on point. 1 star off for lack of driver calling me as I indicated when he's outside my door as I didn't choose contactless pickup and my food was 1/2 hour cold as a result when I checked outside the door.

Everything was great highly recommend this place for their fare prices on food, not only that but very delicious!

Great Food for affordable price. Highly recommend this place. cashier friendly , food right temperature and great taste. Place look nice and clean.

It's really good food... for your money I always come here and buy the general Joe's it's my favorite
