Gelato Picks

this little gelato shop is tucked away across the street from first colony mall. The store was super clean and cute aesthetic. The service was great, the owner of the store was serving us. Will definitely be coming back to try the different flavors.

Outstanding Gelato. You won't find it this good unless you go to Uptown. And even the. It's not this good. The owner is a very friendly gentleman from Austria. This is my favorite Gelato spot.

The atmosphere is simple, but the gelato is to die for!!!! They have a ton of great flavors!!!! Go now, before I eat it all.

This place is super cute and the owner is really nice! I really appreciated him walking around and introducing himself to everyone. I tried the cookies and cream, pistachio and owners choice. The gelato was good but not the best I've ever had. The flavors seemed a bit muted. The cookies and cream should've had a lot more Oreos in it. I also didn't like that I was limited to only 1 flavor for a small and only 2 flavors for a medium. I ended up getting 1 small and 1 medium only so we could try 3 different flavors. I heard several people ask for multiple flavors and everyone got denied. It doesn't make sense why they would limit us to 1 flavor if they're giving you two scoops of ice cream. I love trying different flavors so I'm only giving 4 stars. Definitely check this place out if you're ok to stick to 1-2 flavors.

A regular Sunday afternoon just turned spectacular because we happened to stop by a Gelato place for dessert, and were greeted by the hospitable and intelligent owner Dietmar. I find in my circle of friends, people with Engineering backgrounds seem to enjoy learning and tweaking the perfect formula for things like Gelato, Coffee, and Photography. Dietmar is a polyglot who speaks fluently German, English, French, and Spanish. His expertise and attention to detail in crafting his Gelato and Coffee are immediately evident once you sample the pride of his work.The Pistachio is one of the toughest Gelato to master because it needs a lot of careful babysitting to have the right temperature, texture, and flavor. We were completely satisfied with the Pistachio Gelato here, and we have tasted Gelato from Florence and Rome. The Caffe Barista which is Coffee flavored has the same rich flavor and the sweetness is just perfect. The price is so reasonable too compared to some other Gelato places that don't have the same level of quality.We have a Strawberry and Banana Crepe that's enjoyable, made from a recipe sent from Dietmar's daughter in France. It hits the spot when it's made warm and fresh.After the neighboring customers keep telling us they have the best coffee anywhere, we would be remiss if we don't try a Cappuccino as our dessert Espresso drink. The machine is a manual old-school professional equipment that takes skill to use properly. We love our Double Espresso-based coffee drink with Steamed Milk Foam, rich, smooth, and complex.Food is still the best excuse to connect with people, and today's visit to Dietmar's Gelato Picks is such a wonderful treat for us. During the time we were there, every customer is greeted like a friend by the owner and their faces are beaming with happiness and delight visiting this Gelato spot with old-world charm. The gelato was excellent. They did not have the bogo any longer but who cares. Lady at counter was very sweet. Will return to try other flavors.

This is Ice Cream not Gelato! The ice cream was OK but I have a problem when they advertise as Italian Gelato and they give you something else. The temperature and creamy taste wasn't adequate. They would serve it with a scooper into tiny little balls. I want the spatula with the malleable creamy paste of wholesome goodness. Who serves gelato without the proper instruments and ingredients? The place was nice and clean. The service was nothing special. In general, overpriced ice cream.

Lost for words how good this gelato is. Spaghetti gelato is to die for. Customer service is amazing. Very warm atmosphere, with photogenic things to take pictures of. Highly recommended!!

Ice cream is okay but the service was not good. The owner is very rude and racist. Also one of the most expensive Gelato places in town.
