Gekko Kitchen Sushi & Hibachi

Great serviceTasty foodI ordered the shrimp hibachi and the spring rolls and they were both piping hot, temperature wise, and the price was decent for the quantity/quality of food.The ambiance is in POLITAN row, so cool vibe, nice aesthetic with soft and hard seating with good music.

Ordered the spicy salmon poke bowl and got food poisoning. Disappointing that the sushi grade fish promised was not in fact fresh or safe to consume. Maybe the other places in the food court offer better options but personally I will not be returning to Gekko. The seating was great both inside and outside. The servers were all friendly and informative.

Got the poke. It's pretty pricey, $17 and they don't have much selection. Also, it's not poke bar style, so you just order salmon or tuna from the menu. Located in the food hall with nice interior. Really nice place to hang out and they have selections for other food if you want pizza or burger instead.There isn't much poke option in this city so it's nice that they have this option.

I've been to Politan Row quite a few times, but I've never tried Gekko Kitchen. My friend ordered it and I tried some of hers before ordering my own. To my surprise, it was pretty good. I ordered the shrimp hibachi. It comes with steamed rice, vegetables and shrimp. They only serve steamed white rice, which I'm not a fan of usually, but they had a teriyaki sauce on it which made it flavorful. It had a good flavor to it, but my only gripe is my shrimp was lukewarm. The service was pretty quick too. A tad bit pricey, but the portion sizes are big. Overall, it was decent for fast food hibachi.

Solid hibachi bowl for a reasonable price! We grabbed hibachi for a quick, late lunch. It's great to be able to walk from nearby hotels to the cool food hall this is in. One of the bowls is for sure shareable or you'll have leftovers!

Very disappointing but an extra star for the service and the fact they actually closed at 10p and not 945, when the other restaurants in the row decided they were done serving food, 15 min before their scheduled close time. Ordered vegetable hibachi given it was their only vegetarian entree, ended up with a bowl of bland rice and broccoli and that's all. For $18 with tax and tip I expected not to eat white rice and partially cooked broccoli flavored only with my to-go mustard packets for dinner. The people were nice but won't come here again. Don't know how hard it is to add a few other veggies to the 'vegetable hibachi'. Carrots? Peppers? Mushrooms? Anything? Just a suggestion.

I love coming to colony square and trying out the variety of food and I have never been so disappointed with something I ordered. I choose the spicy salmon roll and it was the most flavorless meal apart from not being spicy at all. I literally had to add Sriracha to the plate to give it some sort of flavor. The "salad" on the plate literally only consisted of lettuce strips and the salmon didn't taste fresh at all.Service was fast but now I know why they had no line.

I was quite impressed with the quality and quantity of the vegetable hibachi bowl I ordered. Bowl came with steamed rice and mixed vegetables (on top of the vegetables I already ordered), plus hibachi sauce. It was a huge serving that can be shared between 2 people imo. Bowl was about $14, which was reasonable considering their location. I'd love to try their other fares to see if the rest of their menu stands out like this one.

I specifically asked if they had poke bowls... I was served something that looked nothing like a poke bowl. Terrible and expensive... save yourself some time and money and go to pretty little taco...

This food was soooo good and fresh. For me, it needed no added nothing!! I normally have to put soy sauce on my food, but the flavors were all there!! So good! Highly recommend. Cool spot for just hanging out too!!
