Garden House Latin Restaurant

We had a wonderful dinner here! The servers are sweet, helpful w/ the menu and great service with the flavorful Peruvian food - we definitely had a great time visiting the Garden House. It's in a quieter street, a street away from Ocean Blvd. They have a quaint outdoor seating and indoor seating available w/ great air conditioning. With Yelp check-ins, mojitos are on the house! The Passion Fruit mojito was so good! Our server even provided us To go iced water cups for our walk back to our lodging. Good food and team and a relaxing vibe. We'll definitely come back when in Miami!

Garden House Latin Restaurant (@gardenhouselatinrestaurant) has a strong focus on Colombian flavors. Being Colombian myself, I tend to be very picky with these types of restaurants, but I was pleasantly surprised with my experience! The restaurant itself has a cute outside area with string lights and greenery. To further set the ambiance, you'll hear some traditional music playing from inside the restaurant.As for the food, I was very happy with the flavors- every bite brought me back to Colombia, from the Blackberry Mojito, to the Pescado de Coco (coconut fish), and even the Arepa de Pollo (chicken corn cake). Definite highlights of the meal!On the day we visited, they were only offering chocolate cake for dessert so that was a shame that we were not able to try a more traditional latin american dessert to round out our meal.

You cannot leave Miami without having some sort of Latin food. Me and my friends were visiting from Atlanta and decided to try Garden House. The menu is a bit limited in my opinion in terms of entrees but I had been eyeing the bandeja paisa so I ordered that. We also ordered Guac for the table. Yelp was doing a deal where when you check in you get a free mojito so I got a strawberry one to drink.Guacamole was amazing! Perfectly seasoned and a good size for the table. Came out relatively fast as well. But the star of the show was the bandeja paisa. This was so. good. Everything came together so perfectly. I'm someone who likes my food touching so it was nice to be able to mix the meats and the beans and the rice all together. I got my steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Everything was a 10/10 here.They also have a patio area with a cute place for photo ops.

My family and I came here for lunch and it was a really cute and chic spot!! We were impressed by the food and service and everything was very tasty. Our seating was outdoors and it was shaded and made the experience very enjoyable. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu so I'd definitely add this on your list to try!

Arrived not too long in Miami and decided to give this a shot as our first dining experience. Surprisingly, it was delicious! It's a great starter introduction to latin cuisine. The steak with chimichurri sauce was great but i think the tacos stole the spotlight. The meat was tender and juicy, accompanied by the special sauce on the side.The service was lacking...two waitresses, barely any customers and we always had to get their attention for water refills (and they still didn't refill it) I don't think a language barrier can make you lose your attentiveness, especially if you're a server. They were incredibly slow and that really affected our first impression of dining in Miami. I hope this review brings attention to those two waitresses that really need to catch up to the restaurant's speed and quality. It's prominent that this was addressed by several other reviewers as well.

We got there right when they opened for lunch and were the only customers initially so we were very specially catered to. It was very hot and the hostess pointed the fans toward us which was very appreciated. even with the heat, the outside seating wasn't too bad because there was more than adequate shade. It was a great experience, we asked for recommendations and I had the coconut tilapia and my husband had the burger. He was incredibly impressed and said it was an awesome burger and I loved the flavor pop of the grilled tilapia sauce and the plantains were fresh and not fried too hard. All and all a great lunch and we'd go again.

This is a great restaurant. I would totally come back here but never alone. There is a bar call the bar idle about two doors down from this facility where it appears that there's drug sales going on or some kind of mischievous behavior. Several intimidating males hanging out in front of the door with a large vehicle and its doors open right across from the bar door. And then there was a gentleman that appeared to be a pretending to be a police officer with 3/4 of his face covered and his eyes showing in a fake police outfit. Made rude sexual comments to me as I walked by with my teenage son which I was thankful to have at my side. As far as the restaurant, the food was amazing. They had sweet and savory, plantains and ceviche. It was all delicious, but I would not walk here at night by myself.

Garden House is a good alternative to the different restaurant options in Miami Beach. It is not our favorite but we had a good time during our 4th of July stay. It's much smaller than it looks in photos. There is a small outdoor patio and and small indoor area. We opted to sit outside which is a lot cuter. I didn't like that the floors were all wet and it took a long time for service but other than that the food was great. We loved their seafood platter which was only about $30 which came with fish, shrimp, calamari, and fried plantains. It was delicious. When we came on 4th of July night it wasn't busy at all. However I hear it gets pretty busy during the weekends so reservations is recommend since its smaller. We always just park in the nearby parking structure.

I am just really getting familiar with Colombian cuisine and this is a great place to try it. This location is cute and easy to find because it's located on Washington Ave near the 7th street garage. Fatima was our host and she made sure we were well taken care of. To start, I got the passion fruit mojito and it was so delicious and potent, which I like. I chose the tostones with chicken app and the tostones was fresh and crispy with a type of shredded chicken salad on top. I was expecting something different with the chicken and while it wasn't terrible, it needed something to bring out the flavor. Some pickled onions on top might give it more life. For the entree, my friend ordered the grilled salmon and she loved it. I got the bandeja paisa that came with egg, different meats, rice and beans, avocado, and maduros. I thought it was delicious but the chicharron was my least favorite because it didn't taste like it was fresh. I was hoping for the fatty part to be melt in your mouth and it fell short from that. Because there is always room for dessert, we got the coconut cake which was very light and sweet but not too much coconut flakes or flavor which I was looking forward to. I ate it up anyway because it was delish.

I have been wanting to eat some Columbian food for a while now and my kids for Mother's Day surprised me with dinner at Garden House. The location is in Miami Beach right on Washington Ave. They have outside seating, which is the cutest thing. They have a great spot for picture taking and the stream of light. I didn't go inside expect to use the bathroom and there is only one unisex bathroom. We all had the bandeja paisa besides my husband with margaritas and we loved it. The food was so good and the service was great. We were constantly being checked on. Our experience was great and my day was very special.
