Gabby’s Grill Tex-Mex & Seafood

This is a fantastic Tex-Mex restaurant! My favorite meal here so far is the blackened red fish, which I haven't tasted better anywhere else. Don't let the unassuming outside of this restaurant fool you because inside, they really know how to cook great food! Came here for lunch during the work day and heard word of mouth rave reviews about their redfish before so I had to try it. The staff greeted us and let us pick out our own table. They immediately brought out our drinks and took our order which was served up rather quick! This means a lot during the middle of a work day that there's no long wait time for lunch. We ordered the fried mushrooms appetizer with a homemade style Ranch dressing. The mushrooms were deep fried and cooked perfectly without being too greasy or too heavy of a focus on the fried crust. Next came the blackened red fish which was served with a type of fried rice and also a side basket of fries. *Fish can be either really good or really bad and thankfully this restaurant makes fantastic redfish that taste like it just came out of the water. The Cajun black and seasoning was not over salty or overwhelming and complemented the filet of redfish really well! The rice was a nice addition to the fish and the fries are always just fun to eat! The staff was super friendly and really personable. They work hard to make sure that you have a nice dining experience and they definitely kept up their end of the bargain! The restaurant is welcoming and what you would expect from a Texas diner. The tables are kept very clean and it was a really enjoyable experience. A definite two big thumbs up! The food quality, the price, the staff and the overall dining experience was really really enjoyable! I highly recommend if you got time to stop in here and grab yourself fantastic piece of blackend red fish!

Breakfast service was excellent! Hot fresh coffee. The omelet was big and delicious! Ambiance was quiet morning crowd. Let's get them some business!

I've eaten here 2x. Once for dine in, once for take out. Getting fried pickles to-go was not a good idea, LoL! They were all soft by the time I picked up my order and made it back to the office. Not the restaurant's fault, I didn't think the choice through... You can call in your order and pick it up, which is convenient. The food is good and served in decent portions, they also have a decent variety of items to choose from. The fried shrimp we "ok" and the fried rice was lack-luster. Friendly service and sodas are served by the bottle, no fountain drinks available. The restaurant is clean and has plenty of seating. This place is a reg cafe, with reg cafe food, nothing fancy.

This place is the best find! Right in the middle of nowhere. It is soo good. I was so shocked. I just deleted my pics by mistake, so i apologize. The boudin balls were good and I am a picky turd. I loved my burger - dang good burger. I think i had the gabby.

I walked in about 6:30 PM and was told I could sit anywhere. The I ordered chicken tacos and the 2 piece catfish platter. As others have said, the food was hot and fresh. The chicken tacos were some of the best I'd ever eaten. The refried beans and rice tasted bland to me. The the catfish and fries were good as well. The staff was courteous and friendly. Overall it was a great experience. I'll be back.

Small town restaurant, great for a family lunch or dinner. They close early so pay attention to the hours. Definitely try the grilled salmon and fried rice! The pork eggrolls are amazing too.

5.29.24 We eat here often. The service is great, foods great and it is always clean! My favorites are salmon, the fish, shrimp and the grilled chicken sandwich. They made the best homemade tartar sauce. Yum!

This place is amazing. The Boudin balls were the best I've ever had. The catfish was swai but it was still great!

Always good food and good service. Never disappointed with anything we've ordered. The fried rice and burrito are favorites!
